Anyone who has travelled to the US during the pandemic cannot really use that excuse as a reason to not go home.....clearly, it was and is, an issue.

What will you do if she gets COVID, or appendicitis, or is in a car accident?   Doesn't take much to rack up hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical expenses here in the US.  Much cheaper to pay the premiums.

I agree that the points you have quoted are not necessarily grounds for denial. We have seen much bigger age gaps who were approved. And a religious difference is also common. 
 
Is there something else that you have not revealed? Has your husband made previous attempts to get to the US in another capacity (work or student visas, for example, or through another family member such as a sibling)? Have you previously attempted to bring someone else into the country? 
 
I am also curious as to how soon after meeting you got married.
