SalishSea got a reaction from Redro in Vaccine Exemption for Philosophical Reasons
OP, in my insomnia-riddled spare time, I sometimes read decisions from the administrative appeals office on USCIS.gov.
Here is one example that pertains to the waiver you seek:
https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/err/H1 - Waiver of Inadmissibility - Medical - 212 (g)/Decisions_Issued_in_2020/JUL202020_01H1212.pdf

I think the issue here is that you don't believe you need a waiver, believing instead that you can just submit some written statement during the consular interview in Montreal (which, you should know, would be year(s) from now). Immigration is a steep learning curve. Good luck.

SalishSea reacted to SusieQQQ in Immigration officers came to my home but...
He stated clearly he knew he was lying. Then his wife lied too. This is not poor English skills.

Both of them lied to immigration. That, among other things, is very concerning.

You can also love your spouse and love someone else at the same time. This is one of the definitions of polyamory.

Sexual, or romantic, exclusivity is also nowhere to be found.

Nope. I never said that at all. I am leaving this conversation as I don't want to violate the terms of service for VJ.

You don't seem to understand the concept of polygamy when it comes to the law. It has a real legal meaning, and it doesn't include regular old cheating. Being a polygamist = bar to becoming a citizen. Being a cheater = not a bar to becoming a citizen.
I like to give personal examples because I think real life experience can be a way of telling a story that's more accessible and easier to parse. Also I like paragraphs.
PS: Also "retorque" is for lugnuts, not for conversation.

Just to wrap this up, here is a link to the I 601 Waiver https://www.uscis.gov/i-601
They used to be adjudicated by Consulates but that has not been the case for a very long time.
Unusual for a well prepared waiver to fail, just a question of time and money.

When you are at the interview try telling the officer this:
”If you don’t have the experience or authority with these please leave me and my waiver alone and refrain from making any comments”
It might work wonders I bet.

To get back to your original question, why does it matter what others have written in their statements? Their statements are about their personal beliefs, not yours.
Also, tone and attitude definitely are reflected in written text; keep that in mind when you write your statement.
I have only seen a few people try this. As suggested, you are more likely to be able to connect with them by doing a thorough search here and messaging them directly.
