Applied on the 26th Feb and got my passport through today. I did pay for an expedited service. Now waiting on my certificate to be sent back, hopeful it'll be here in the next week.

Absolutely got a reaction from .yana in N400 Interview with I-751 pending
I had my N-400 interview with a pending I-751 a couple of weeks back. My I-751 status was "Ready for interview" but no interview date set and I also received no letter that it would be a combo interview.

I took my wife with me on the advice of fellow VJers. To set expectations, my wife was not let in as my interview letter was for N400 only, so she waited in the car. I asked the security guard about it and he said if it is a combo interview, I would be allowed to call her and she could come through. That said, I then asked my interviewer about my I-751 and she said she had approved it on the spot so it turned out there was no combo interview, just the N400.

Every case and field office is of course different, but absolutely take your husband (let him know he likely won't be allowed in so bring a book/ coffee/iPad) and take all evidence that you would for an I-751. Also make sure to ask your interviewer before you start so you know what is going to happen and get the lay of the land.

Good luck, I hope it goes as smoothly as possible for you!

The Trader Joes cheese section is the best we've found too for Uk style cheese. And it's so cheap! Agreed about it being more mild. That said, their cheddar and onion is one of the nicest cheeses I've had

My journey is complete! Had my N-400 interview today and had the oath ceremony about 20 minutes after approval. I am a citizen!

I had a pending I-751 and was hoping for a combo interview. Something even better happened and it was approved before we got started so no need for my spouse to come in (she got turned around by security as only the applicant could enter).

Ran through the civics, verbal and written test, then the yes/no questions and I was good to go!

Good luck to everyone. Overall my experience was great so here's hoping the same applies to you all.

My interview on the 20th Jan was rescheduled due to USCIS offices closing for safety reasons related to the inauguration. Checked today and they have rescheduled it already for end of Feb!! Hats off to them, they got that set up quickly.

Same, it was an email that I understand why they have done it but still gut wrenching to read given how close we are. Here's hoping they very quickly get the rescheduled dates out to us that have been affected. Please keep me in the loop on if and when you hear anything.

Sorry should have given context. As Sasha said above, shutting Tuesday and Wednesday over inauguration due to safety measures.

Hi all. My interview was set for Wednesday the 20th but have just had an email stating all interviews on the 19th and 20th are cancelled due to safety issues and will be automatically rescheduled.

Has anybody got experience with rescheduling interviews and if so how far out was your new date?

After being so close to the interview I really hope the wait isn’t too long.

Excellent you've had some movement! It is field office dependent - mine took 1.5 months from biometric reuse to interview scheduled.

Good luck, I hope you hear soon.

Make sure you do it in good time. My wife and I moved address and got approved at pretty much the same time. I changed my address online but apparently the change on their system isn't immediate so my GC was sent to the old address (luckily the postal worker returned it as undeliverable.) It then took them 5 months to resend it to my new address. Fun times. Good luck with everything

Congrats on getting approved, it's a lovely feeling, isn't it! You are cutting it mighty fine with the week of July 3rd, so you'll have to be on top of everything, but it certainly isn't impossible. The next things you need to do are send off for your police certificate (ACRO can be slow) and give it a week or two and chase for your London embassy (LDN) application number. With these two things you are able to book your appointment at Knightsbridge medical, book your interview and fill out the DS-160 form. From there, you need to give it five business days between medical and embassy interview in order for them to get the medical delivered. Once approved, it can take a couple of days or a couple of weeks to get your passport back.

Hey, I flew Manchester to Omaha in January and booked a return trip via Expedia. A return trip was half the price of a single ticket so makes sense to buy the return ticket.

Make sure you cancel the return leg though - as one of the people above me has said, if you're scheduled to be on the flight and 'miss it', chances are you'll be fine but if they forget to take you off the list, it may appear you have left the country, thus messing up AOS. I also got about £100 back from Expedia as a refund for cancelling. I flew Virgin Atlantic as an fyi.

I have no idea why the USCIS processing timeline is so far back, but I would pay no attention to that. I am a February filer and had my EAD approved on day 97 and card has just been sent today. People seem to be getting their EAD's approved between days 85-105 in the Feb thread - it is a horrible wait but it will come. Just as reference, I filed a SR on Day 75 and also asked my Congressman's immigration liaison officer to request an update around day 90. They don't seem to do anything, but it's a free to use service and does not affect your cases' processing time so well worth it.

All the best, I hope you and the rest of March filers get positive updates asap.

I too am on Day 90. I filed an SR on Day 75 and it's come back saying  along the lines of"your case is out for review, a decision will be made soon". I've been told that that is good as it's with an officer now and not just sat in a filing cabinet somewhere. I rang two days ago as never received the SR update, but one of the uscis staff read the email to me. He said I could ring back in two days (which is now today) to file a Day 90 SR. I did that but the uscis officer said I could not. It seems to be inconsistent, but I will probably try again tomorrow. I would definitely give it a go if I were you, I think the idea of making a "nuisance" of yourself is a bit of a myth on here. You are well within your rights to file one!

I was actually in the USA visiting when my LDN paperwork came through so I did it a fair few weeks after it turned up. Once you have that number you can crack straight on with it. It is a pretty speedy process if you want it to be, the only thing out of your control once you have the LDN number is the wait to get your passport back post-interview. My fingers are crossed for you!

Oh nice, you're well on top of things then! You have to choose your interview date, so once you've scheduled your medical, get on to the embassy site and book it for five or more business days after. 4-6 weeks is nonsense, I had my interview on December 21st and it was back with me on December 30th. At the embassy, it was flashing up saying expect a wait of 17 working days, but the lady that interviewed me said even that was way more than usual. Perhaps they say 4 - 6 weeks to cover their own backs, but no way will it take that long!
