Got our case number today, NOA2 October 10th. Excited and nervous at the same time we are almost at the finish line. For those who are still waiting, dont rely on others timelines to make you frustrated or lose hope. This path is yours, life is not like water. Things in life dont necessarily go the way you want them, but know this, your time is coming. You have already overcome the first hurdle, be patient your time is near. 

Same here! Finally after 8 months! This is an exhausting journey, but we all know this is all worth it, when we finally together with someone we love!..😍

Go to ceac.state.gov when you get your case number from NVC and enter it under "immigrant" for current status. Do not use non-immigrant as you select or it will come back null.

We have the same date, and praise God we got approved today. I just happen to check the old site and says we got approved. We haven't received the hard copy yet, but I'm literally crying right now. I'm so glad it's over. I'm praying for everyone that hasn't been approved yet. Never lose hope guys. God bless

Woke up with an email saying that I got approved. 
 
This feels great.

As much as i've researched, USCIS CSC sends petitions to NVC at the beginning of the month, and somewhere around middle and end of the month.
Hard to predict, but as Greenbaum said earlier- USUALLY it's 2-3weeks, but it might be less, or might be more, lots of variables involved (holidays just to mention one).

@Greenbaum Thank you for all your informations, we got our hard copy in the mail today dated 10/4. I will follow all instructions, thanks again!

We just got approved too!!!!!! Cannot believe it!!! After so long, finally our approval is here (NOA1 15th of Feb)!
 
 We  found out after calling the USCIS just an hour ago. We havent received any email or letter. The old website still says " Request for evidence was received", while the new wesbite has no updates. Our RFE got approved within a 1 week. A tier 2 agent explained that when an RFE is issued, the application is put on hold, however, time still counts. When we received the RFE we were already outside normal processing times, and they are always trying to close older cases first.So when they received our RFE , and since our case was really old, they had to work on it first even though there are other RFEs received earlier. That is , according to this agent, the reason some RFEs are getting approved really fast, while others have to wait longer.

Today is our 30th day after we response for our RFE, and yes, still nothing. My fiance called and they just told him it will take at least 60 days for RFE, I can't believe it will take them that long to read just one piece of paper. It doesn't make sense why some get approved 5 days after they send their response but can't do it to ours?why start  working on the new months when they have yet to finish the previous months. This is beyond frustrating. It's hard to sleep anymore. It's so depressing. Our lives is on hold. 😔 😢 

I’m sorry to hear all this from you, I feel so unlucky myself. I and my fiancée haven’t even meet for nearly two years. We looked forward to this thinking we will get it quickly and finally the time will come, but it’s one disappointment to another and don’t even know how long the next steps will come. Our lives are just stuck, days are going but we aren’t moving forward in anything. 

I just checked the app tracker that I thought wasn't working anymore because it's from the old site, but today I was surprised to see a message that says they requested an additional evidence. We got an RFE!... New site has no update till now. I'm glad I checked the old site. So guys, old site is back!... God bless us all.
