  1. 1976 Crown Victoria with the crash guard package.
  2. You thought we got that 10 year GC 😉
  3. The Christmas season in the Philippines starts September 1)))
  4. Merry Christmas everyone!!!
  5. SRC September 2021....Case received.....Biometrics waived.....crickets.....Planning on moving in the next few months. Thought we would have 10 year card by now. Wanted to apply for citizenship after we moved. Blah...
  6. Over 10k has to be declared. We set up the account for later transfers once I retire in a month. Loren (who posted above) is far more experienced carrying large amounts of money. I have never carried more than 5k into any country though carrying 5k into Ukraine in a money belt in 2007 made me twitch a little)))
  7. My wife was able to set up an account at BPI all in one day when she was there in April 2022. My wife also carried in $4000 in cash but that is under the declarable amount. She had no issues.
  8. I occasionally differ from the majority view that the K-1 is the inferior choice. Especially for couples who may not have known each other a long time. But you have known your intended partner for a long time. Marriage and the CR-1 seems the best choice for you. Good Luck.
  9. We have Mint mobile. It uses T-Mobile systems. When my wife was in the Philippines in March and April we found out by accident that she could text and call me for free using wifi calling. We have wifi calling set up automatically on both of our phones. It worked seamlessly as long as she had a wifi connection. Bonus.
  10. The CDC form was filled out by my wife at the airport when she returned to the US in April. It was just a statement saying she would comply or had complied with CDC requirements upon coming to the US. I don't know it it is still relevant now. If it is she can fill it out at the airport. https://www.cdc.gov/quarantine/pdf/Combined-Passenger-Attestation-Amended-Testing-Order-12-02-2021-p.pdf
  11. I asked my wife. She made her disapproving face and said your wife isn't overreacting.
  12. I traveled out of the Dipolog airport. I had two carry-ons that were both obviously over 7kg. PAL staff just waved me (the Kano) along while continuing to bust the chops of the Filipinos whose carry-ons were 1kg over. My wife just looked at me and said "Not fair." I told her it was because I am so gwapo. Seriously, I would follow Adventine's advice upthread. I am a little bit of a computer nerd. When we move to the Philippines I intend to break down two computers and send the parts in separate BB boxes.
  13. Neither test here in Missouri is difficult. It is just an inconvenience. There are two separate offices that you have to go to. No unified DMV office in Missouri. I grew up in Illinois where you could go take your written, driving test and get your license all in one place. In Missouri there are private license agencies. The State Police gives the exams. https://dor.mo.gov/driver-license/guide/
  14. One Pass was the least painful thing we had to do for my wife's trip. That was back when everyone had to be tested.
  15. On my first trip to my wife's family home in Mindanao there was a brownout in the middle of the night. I woke up to my wife fanning me by hand to make sure I didn't get bitten. That's when I knew I had a keeper...;-)
  16. I imagine just like every other time we will have the envelope with the Green Card show up unannounced in USPS informed delivery)))) When? Nobody knows.
  17. My wife flew Philippines Airlines to Manila in March/April with the extension letter. No issues.
  18. Our situation and evidence is almost exactly like yours. We did not submit every page of the credit card and bank statements. Only a sampling for the time my wife was here. We were approved without an issue. Some people here will strongly recommend sending every page of every statement but it just seemed like overkill to me. I know you are always well prepared. I doubt you will have any issues.
  19. That cut is normal. My wife's had it, too.
