Hello, I am finally moving to the states on the 20th this month I have however a question about bringing prescription meds with me. I have pcos for which I have been taking a specific type of the birth control pill. My doctor kindly prescribed 5 packs or 15 months worth of the pill, which is obviously way more than the 90 days worth of they talk about on the TSA website. I probably won't need all of it as we are thinking about starting a family soon with my husband, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Where I come from, we get the pills in strips with the name of the meds on the back of it. My name is not on it and my prescription was a qr code that became disfunctional once scanned at the pharmacy. How should I pack this? I'm worried they will be suspicious at the amount and confiscate it. Im thinking spliting it between my carry-on and my two checked begs, that way I have at least something left when I arrive? But that would probably seem even more suspicious to them 😕 I am also bringing some other meds, some prescription and some not, mainly pain killers used for period pain/back pain, allergies etc. but don't have the prescription for that either. I wouldn't even bother bringing these but I'd rather have it in case I need it and can avoid a (expensive) trip to doctor's in the states, at least for a while. Any advice or personal experience will be greatly appreciated 🙂 Thank you!

Hello, I was able to get my wife a tourist visa shortly after the war started in Ukraine ( she's Ukrainian) and when we entered the Port of Entry the officer said we had 6 months to figure out her paperwork to adjust her status. Well I spoke with a lawyer who will proofread all our documents but I haven't been able to pay yet and start the process so she can have work permission and travel authorization. My question is, we have been taking trips flying within usa during this time and she uses passport as I.D. , can she still travel within USA on an expired Visa? Does Tsa look into that and call immigrations or can we still fly before we submit paperwork to adjust status??

What's everyone's opinion on bringing a desktop PC (and an Oculus quest 2) on check in for EVA airlines MNL>TPE(4.5hr layover)>SFO? My PC is too heavy for carry on so my only option is check in, I'd rather not leave it behind. What are the chances of theft? And how much does the airline reimburse for missing items if it does get stolen/lost? TIA.

Morning! My wife is a military dependent (I am active duty) - we entered her DOD ID number as her known traveler number but it did not generate a TSA Pre Check on her boarding pass. Spirit said she’d be fine but they made her go through regular security at the gate. Currently TSA Precheck is only accepting applications for LPRs or conditional LPRs. Anyone with a foreign spouse/military dependent have luck getting approved for TSA Pre Check?

HI- We would like to fly from Texas to West Virgina. My husband has a i485 pending. Will there be any issues getting through TSA? I know they are part of DHS and will probably see he's been in the US since last December. Anyone ever get stopped at TSA for this reason? Any suggestions like maybe he should bring his 485 paperwork ? Will they ask for vaccination paperwork at any point? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks Kierra
