It's difficult to give accurate advice when the information you provide is inconsistent or incomplete. You've yet to explain why your profile says that you applied for a TN visa.

    Which part answers their question?

All it says is who does and doesn't have to apply for a Schengen visa and how to apply. I think the OP is already aware of both of those things.

Yes, having a green card, living in the USA with a job, gives you upper hand in having green card for Europe easy peasy. America is considered the greatest country in the world and once you have a green card, are living here, have a decent income, then you got your visa. Is Europe not EU? You get visa for one country, you get for "all".

No, the green card in 2021 was for my wife. This green card is for my mom, who received the card in 2013 (10 years ago).

Marry and apply for Adjustment of Status ASAP if she definitely wants to stay. There is no benefit to waiting until her 90 days expires, quite the opposite in fact.

Hello! I'm glad to hear that you and your fiancé have been approved for your NOA2.
Regarding your first question, it is unfortunately not possible to add a family member to an existing K1 visa application. You would need to start the process again from the beginning if you wish to bring your fiancé's son with her.
As for the second question, the best way to handle this situation would be to petition for your fiancé's son as an immediate family member once you are married. You can do this by filing a Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, and if he is already your stepson, you can also consider filing for his adoption as part of the process.
It is important to note that processing times for immigration applications can vary and are subject to change. You may check the USCIS processing times for an estimate of how long the process may take.
I hope this information helps. Good luck with your journey!

Single intent visas are non-immigrant visas that do not allow immigrant intent while dual intent visas do.

For example, someone applying for a B-2 or F-1 visa must demonstrate that they have ties to their home country and will return there at the end of their stay in the US. Someone applying for an H-1B visa does not need to meet those requirements as it is a dual intent visa. K-1 visas are a bit unusual because they are technically non-immigrant visas but their sole purpose is for immigrating to the US, so they are technically dual intent.

I think you have every right to be worried.

You have minimal ties to the UK, 1 day a week job is no tie and you have finished studying. You also did not buy the flight yourself and admit you are going to do this trip on a low budget.. these are all red flags.

Add the fact it's your first time to the USA, and you are meeting someone for the first time I believe, that you met online..

Even though it's not a requirement, in your specific case I definitely would get some sort of letter or invitation from this person maybe even a copy of their passport, in case questioned by CBP.

Otherwise don't be surprised if you get refused entry.

HandmadeTurnip reacted to Palawan in Does K1 visa process depend upon the beneficiary's nationality?
    Actually it does

I remember when I applied for my K1 from Philippine back in 2015, most were getting approved in less than 45 days, mine was approved in 30 days and my buddy who was using I believe California Service Center got his NOA2 in 7 days he had file and his fiance was from Philippines as well.

Many others were waiting many months for thier NOA2 from other countries for their K1 petition, in the past historically Philippine has moved very fast getting NOA2 on K1's.

HandmadeTurnip reacted to EmilyW in Can a permanent resident spouse come to the USA on an esta visa and stay while AOS?
You have a few issues here.
One is that you have been out of the country for an extended period (longer than a year).  What have you done to maintain your residency: lease, bank accounts, filing tax returns.  This should be your first and primary concern. Second, only spouses of US citizens can adjust status.  This option is not available to you.  And, even then, as others have mentioned, even if you do become a citizen, your spouse cannot enter the US on an ESTA or any other type of non-immigrant visa with the intent to adjust: that is immigration fraud. Finally, the link you posted is in relation to children and the timeframe for them to be admitted without a visa.  This is separate to your own status as a permanent resident.
