Look up Tex. Fam. Code Sec. 6.201 : there is no such prohibition (only siblings, uncles/aunts, or descendants). So you are allowed to be married to your first cousin in Texas. Also this is buffered by the fact that Texas will recognize any marriage valid in any other state.

Caveat is that you can enjoy the sexy times with your spouse, because under Tex. Penal Code Sec. 25.02(6), it is illegal to engage in sexual activity with your cousin  (the wording is actually "the son or daughter of the actor's aunt or uncle of the whole or half blood or by adoption.").

A CR-1 visa doesn't really get invalidated - once stamped at POE, it will serve as a temporary green card for one year. Technically, it's no longer a visa, but it's still good for re-entry to the US.

Sure, you could write something that says that. But if you're destitute and relying on public assistance, what hope does your aunt have of actually reclaiming any money from you?

ETA: I don't mean to sound mean - it's just a piece of paper - if you (and spouse) can reasonably support yourselves, auntie has nothing to worry about.

That's pretty much the whole point of I-864. You need someone to sponsor you - and that person needs to be responsible if you need public assistance. You can "promise" to pay your sponsor (or sign a contract, or whatever), but if you renege on that promise, the government will always be able to rely on I-864 and recover funds directly from your sponsor - not from you.

No. There's no hope of picking up european signals, and the main satellite providers in US don't offer much in the way of european programming. Dish has a german package (for $30 a month!), but it doesn't give you much - Pro Sieben, Euronews, Deutsche Welle, and My German TV.

Yes, as long as you have a valid green card (or equivalent - stamped visa, temporary I-551 stamp, etc.) you can enter Canada without a visa. You will need a Canadian eTA to fly back into YYZ.

There used to be NFL Sunday Ticket in Canada. For this season, NFL sold the rights to streaming service dazn.com.

Just use your original address for both. Would you feel obliged to inform them about a holiday home in Florida? It's no different for a convenient apartment close to work. Your home is still your home, residence, and mailing address.

First question always asked "is it cold?"  No we just use a different temperature system so when we say "30 degrees" you think omg it's snowing and meanwhile we're sunburnt and in a swimsuit.

But I lived in an igloo and had a polar bear as a pet, what would I know?

Yeah - even getting to pick your own interview date helps. For my IR-1, the interview was scheduled Jan 5 - xmas and new year holidays meant I'd've had to spend a fortnight in Montreal if I went that route for the medical.

ETA: If your passport issuing country needs a visa to enter Canada, apply for that before you attempt to travel there.

Montreal conducts ALL immigrant visa interviews.  There is no way to get around this. I had to spend a week in Montreal to get my medical done there as well.  At least you can have your medical done in Surrey and only spend the night in Montreal PLUS you get to pick your own interview date as a K1.
