Watching the NFL in Canada

First, mods - apologies if this is the wrong area to post.

But, for any Canadians out there, do you know where is a good spot to watch NFL in Canada? In the US, sports bars generally have something called NFL ticket where they will get nearly EVERY game. Do you know if Canada has something similar and you can go to a bar and watch? If so which chain bars/restaurants would be a good option?

I just realized I will be in Canada next week for opening weekend and don't want to miss the games!

Thanks!

Usually any sports bar or wing place.  It's not hockey season yet, so they'll likely play football.  If you ask them nicely they'll usually change the channel

Thanks! Do you know if Canada offers a package to watch all the games or are we limited to what is regularly scheduled on channels like TSN?

I believe that there's an NFL Sunday ticket package with bell or rogers or whatever cable provider.  Expect an arm and a leg lol

There used to be NFL Sunday Ticket in Canada. For this season, NFL sold the rights to streaming service dazn.com.

Thanks everyone for your feedback! DAZN actually looks like a super good deal. Apparently $20/month. A month free and you can cancel any time. Wish it were like that in the states!

Most of the larger bars have several TV's on showing different things---chances are at least one if not more televison will be showing football since hockey season isn't underway yet.

True.  I never got into that sport, but there's something kind of soothing watching it in a way.  Until the person starts screaming at the sweepers.

No mostly they want your passport back when you say you're not that into Hockey.  LOL

I get annoyed I can't watch Spruce Meadows show jumping... "this isn't available in your area."  :bonk:

That was on TV!? I used to live right across from Spruce Meadows on the other side of 22X. Apart from seeing all the flags down Macleod Trail, I don't think I ever heard anyone mention the show jumping.

Uhm...I never heard of this show before.

Never watched Beachcombers either, before anyone asks.

I did watch Degrassi Jr. High. and Kids in The Hall...do I get to keep my passport now?

LOL! We had Degrassi Jr High back in the UK. You also need to watch Due South to keep the passport, though!
