SmallTownPA got a reaction from Vitalii&Lana in K-1 STUCK FOR INTERVIEW
No one is able to visit anyone.  Very few K1 are being processed (although a some are).  This is not USCIS picking on you, everyone is in the same boat.

The majority of people are still working.  I actually have two jobs now because I want MORE money.  Where I work, the company has given out TWO $300 bonuses, all overtime is double time, and an additional 40 hours of holiday was granted.  I am expecting a huge bonus soon because (wait for it) I SHOWED UP FOR WORK.  I'm 50 and my only co-morbidity is weight.  I was in HK and Vn in Feb 2020 and in Shenyang and Yiwu in Sept, 2019 so I most likely have had the virus, although I don't care to be tested.

I drive for GrubHub 15 hours a week and the number of shops/businesses with HELP WANTED sign's is ridiculous.  If you are not making money, you are not trying.

So your American boyfriend needs to GO TO WORK, save, and once travel opens (Sept seems like a possibility) get a ticket to see you.  I plan on being on the first scheduled flight from JFK->SGN once the list it.

Now is the PERFECT time to not only save, but make crazy money.  Seriously.  Tell your boyfriend to get a 2nd or 3rd job and make some crazy money.

There is no way USCIS is going to be able to link OPs post and a future I-129F/I-130.

There is no need to virtue signal.  Technically I (and MANY,. MANY other) have committed fraud by marrying on a B2 visa.  And even though I wrote that I met my ex while she was here on a B2 visa, and we talked beforehand, not one flag was raised, in fact we got approved in record time back in 2015.

If anything just the annulment alone MIGHT raise a flag, but unless OP writes the exact same thing on the RFE or the application OP has almost nothing to worry about.

The phrase 'legit marriage' and 'annulment' do not mean what you think they mean.

I expect USCIS to take a closer look at your case simply because you previously filed for immigration benefits and then annulled the marriage.

Plus now you are a multiple filer.  So you need a waiver.

I think some consulates are going to have fairly loose interpretations of 'emergency' due to the POTUS EO.

If you have anything close to a reasonable request (like school) then try it.  I cannot see them being overly busy with only 'mission critical' applications.

Worst case is they say no.

The I-134 is a 'screening' process.  Almost no other visa uses it, the others rely on the legally binding I-864.

That said, the TAX TRANSCRIPT is what USCIS calls 'BEST EVIDENCE' (as opposed to primary and secondary evidence)

    https://www.uscis.gov/ilink/docView/AFM/HTML/AFM/0-0-0-1/0-0-0-2061/0-0-0-2073.html

Why?  Because the transcript is basically a 3rd party verifying your information.  You fill out a 1040 and submit it to USCIS that means nothing, you can throw it away and make another one.  W2s are Best Evidence as it pure data from a 3rd party that you have no chance to alter.

Since USCIS and DoS are two completely different entities, they can ask for different things.  USCIS forms may say tax returns are ok, but the Consulate (under DoS) may say lol no, we want transcripts so we can filter out possible fraud.

English language is a possible red flag, but to deny a translator?  To refuse to speak Vietnamese?

My fiance speaks English well enough, but being nervous at a visa interview would definitely make her stumble, a lot.

That means nothing to me.  Unless you are old/sick you should be at work.   The 'cure' is worse than the illness.

So many media lies about what happened... but this is not a place for theories.  USCIS never shut down or posted anything about stopping/reducing paperwork.  Only in person interviews.

So actually more people should be able to work on scanning/typing etc.

As long as you don't have to switch airports Japan is allowing passengers to transit.  If you don't have to clear immigration you are good to go.  I've been to Haneda and its a nice airport.  I hope you have time to visit the observation deck, you can see the entire airport, although I doubt you'll see much air traffic.

I can't stand Japanese airlines.  The fakeness of the service is just infuriating.  No, I don't want an apology, I want my issue resolved.

As usual, no one actually read the 'public charge' legislation.

The jist is that you cannot have been on 'public assistance' (and there is a list of what are officially considered public assistance')  for more than 12 months out of a 36 month rolling period.

So no, if you are jumping right in to AOS from K1 then there is no way you can be on public assistance for 12 months prior to applying.  IF you delay, then yes, there is a possibility you could trigger the law.

Read the rules, folks, its all written down for your convenience.

As for lawyers, there are plenty of VJ posts about how wrong these lawyers are.
