Transborderwife got a reaction from Ning in [B2] visa denied; spouse of us citizen
Some officers don't even give the chance to say that you can show docs. It's at their discretion. Do you have much knowledge of the Moroccan consulate? Giving hope for a tourist visa here isn't very helpful.

I don't know what to tell you other than your chances of ever getting a tourist visa are slim to none. Morocco is an incredibly difficult embassy and high fraud

Transborderwife got a reaction from Unlockable in Adjustment of status
Which is he a citizen or greencard holder?

Transborderwife reacted to Boiler in Green Card holder returning to the US
Well if the worst comes to the worst her Mother can petition her again.

She's here, marry stay and adjust

Transborderwife reacted to Boiler in Green Card holder returning to the US
She can apply for an SB1 returning residents visa evidencing how she has maintained the US as her permanent residence.

Transborderwife reacted to TL2016 in Can I file a K-1 visa before my divorce is final?
No, not possible. When you file all the papers, you must include a note with signatures verifying that you are both free to marry. But you can't do that because that wouldn't be true.
You'll have to wait until the divorce is finalized. Don't forget to hang onto all the final divorce papers because you will need those as well.

Transborderwife reacted to Dutchster in License without EAD or GC
It really depends on the state whether you can apply without a GC or not. Tennessee can be a hassle but they hand out an eight year valid temporary drivers license (don't ask me how eight years is temporary since the normal DL's are the same)

Did you ever drive through with Red Wings flags flying on your car?
Toronto hates winners.

And the taxpayers actually get stuff in return for it, imagine that? Canadian infrastructure makes most of the the US look like a mud hole.

Transborderwife reacted to jan22 in Wife on Green Card & 4 Months Pregnant?
The theory is that, while not usually a medical emergency, it is in the best interest of the US for the child -- who will be a US citizen and eligible for any benefits of a US citizen -- to receive proper prenatal care and be born healthy.

Transborderwife reacted to Coco8 in Wife on Green Card & 4 Months Pregnant?
It says Medicaid in Texas covers pregnant women who are legal permanent residents:
https://www.plannedparenthoodhealthinsurancefacts.org/plans/medicaid/i-am-not-us-citizen-can-i-still-be-eligible-medicaid/
Take her to Planned Parenthood and you can inform yourselves there.
Pregnant women are an exception in some states. See the link from planned parenthood I posted.

"Fairness" isn't the goal. Security and lawful immigration are.

Transborderwife got a reaction from NikLR in Divorces versus arrests
There's usually a good reason for denial. It's not arbitrary

Transborderwife reacted to geowrian in Expired petition
When was your mom issued the K-1 visa? If it was less than 1 year ago, then your sister can utilize follow-to-join to obtain a K-2 visa. ETA: probably a month or two depending on embassy.
Otherwise, for your sister your USC stepdad can file an I-130. ETA: ~1 year form filing to visa in hand
As for your brother...how old was he when your mom and stepdad got married? If he was under 18, then he can use the same process as your sister. Otherwise, you mom has to file for him. ETA: ~2 years. He shouldn't age out (turn 21) if she files fairly soon.

Transborderwife reacted to EmilyW in B2 Visa visiting my BF in US. Shall we marry here or wait for K1
Wise heads may have a better view of this, but you're working while on a tourist visa and plan to continue working? That's a grey area I believe, even if the company is not in the US.

Transborderwife reacted to Unlockable in B2 Visa visiting my BF in US. Shall we marry here or wait for K1
You can stay and apply for adjustment of status now that you are already in the US. Here is a guide to help you with the steps ... http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide2
Keep in mind that you will not be able to leave the US or work until you have authorization, which could be a few months.

Transborderwife got a reaction from Unlockable in Visitor visa question
I've personally experienced being turned around at the border due to this "notion" so it's truth, as have others on here. She has the visa, is likely going to be able to enter. It's irrelevant at this point
-
Transborderwife reacted to Going through in Visitor visa question
As Transborderwife said, is it up to the officer's discretion, and it can be considered work,
Personally, my mother travelling on a tourist visa entered the US and told the border officer she was coming "for 3 months to help out since her granddaughter was just born"...the officer let her through with no issue. That doesn't mean everyone will be allowed entry with this reason, though. I suppose it would depend on variable factors.

Transborderwife reacted to Boiler in Visitor visa question
She applied for a visitor visa not a work visa.
