  1. Oath is first week of December early in the morning. Not my favorite time or date and it’s a bit annoying I had to wait 5 weeks after my interview for the oath ceremony because I have international travel coming up not long after, but I should just be happy that the whole process took less than 6 months.
  2. Posted the same thing in the July thread but here it is again. Had my interview today at the NYC field office and passed. I was in the building for less than 30 minutes total. Online already updated to being in line for the oath ceremony, so we’ll see when that is. Hopefully as soon as possible as I have a trip coming up.

  4. Interview scheduled for Halloween October 31st, filed online July 25th. NYC field office, unfortunately no same day oaths there but I’ll take a fairly quick interview date.
  5. Applied online July 25 Interview October 31 on Halloween 👻🎃 Looks like NYC doesn’t offer same day path ceremonies. Hopefully it doesn’t take too long to schedule it after the interview, I assume that’s when people get their certificate of naturalization?
  6. Seems like NYC is relatively fast after looking at timelines this year. Average seems to be somewhere between 5-8 months instead of 12+, which is pretty good. Hopefully that’ll get even better as the heat progresses.
  7. Just say “Infopass appointment” as soon as it allows you. It will connect you to a real person without any issues, just be prepared for a wait if you don’t call right at opening.
