Where did you book the ticket? You can find your past information on their websites if you have an account. For example if you are a JetBlue TrueBlue member you can see your past flights. If you booked on Expedia you can find your past tickets/bookings. Did you write a narrative about the time you spent together? I arrived in country on this date we moved in to an apartment on this date and lived there from X to X we traveled to this country on this date etc. Along with that add some photos and have them labeled with place, persons and dates. You can also have your entry stamp into/out of the country. Both of your credit/bank statements can show you were both in Spain in May and then you were both in Italy in June etc.
For a bit of clarity; your fiance is American and had an apartment in Spain and you are from a European country? And you guys traveled in Europe together?

Really?   Starting out with a lie is not too smart.  If you want a visa, don't try any shenanigans regarding length of stay.

And yes, adult applicants must sign the applications.  By signing it, the applicant is attesting to the truth of the content.  This is why, when 'agents' submit applications with inaccurate marital statuses, the applicant often ends up with life-long problems.

Yeah it's kinda crazy that some people do K1 but then are completely ignorant of AOS until they actually have to do it. On the other hand, I know a lot of people here (including myself) researched everything (AOS/visa process, ROC, N400) before committing to anything. I definitely encourage others to do the same before filing anything.

https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ You can check processing times here to see if it’s outside of normal processing time. I also suggest to browse the subforum for your country to see if others are in the same boat. Yes, Pakistan is considered a high fraud country, but if the marriage is legitimate and forms were filled out accurately then I would not worry. The husband really needs to take ownership of this however as it is his wife’s case. He would be the one reaching out to make an inquiry to USCIS if case is outside normal processing time, not you.

Thank you for the correction. Wrong choice of wording; and I realize wording matters.

Assuming you are in a legitimate relationship and everything you presented thus far is accurate and you are honest at the interview-  don’t worry! Be happy you are almost at the finish line 🙂

If we are using personal anecdotes, then I can counterbalance your argument by telling you the ties I had to show to my home country when I applies for my F1: a deed to my apartment, a letter from my employer, bills under my name, etc.
So your wife is only a sample of all the students that are coming here. Just because she had it easy it doesn’t mean that it’s going to be easy for everyone, just like my experience doesn’t mean that everybody is going to have it hard.
Back to OP, your friend seems to be fishing for a way to get here. The visa depends on the purpose of the person coming here. If they want to study, it’s an F1; if they want to visit, it’s a B2. Period.

Have you ever heard the saying anecdotes are not data? No.. I guess not. If it was just my family and friends that I based experiences on, then I would claim that a tourist visa is super easy guaranteed because literally no one I know who applied ever got denied for a US tourist visa regardless age, occupation or even having a USC boyfriend in one case (that person did only get a one year visa rather than the usual ten year). However I am also aware enough that the limited experience of people I know does not translate into truths across the entire experience.

Then he's most likely going to lose his green card since he will basically be immediately moving to a different country and this goes against the entire point of having a green card. It's free to request an expedite on anything with USCIS, but it sounds unlikely to be approved. This is more of a timing thing for you guys and USCIS will not consider that an emergency or financial hardship.

If your son is starting university in Russia, then you chose the wrong path for him to immigrate. Remember that a GC is for someone to live in the US, not outside.

An IO will most likely deny an AP expedite if the reason is to go back for studies.

This situation is such a shame especially as the original poster was already given correct advice in a previous thread, that her son needs to have the Advanced Parole before leaving the US.

No loopholes. You and your son knew the answer from previous posts and still decided for him to make the trip to Russia. Depending on his age like mentioned above, there might be a long path to immigrate again and he might be stuck in Russia for a long time.

The tourist visa, even though it wasn't probably officially voided, it's useless now because CPB knows there's an intention to immigrate again.

This will be my last comment to not further derail this post as OP received their answer- but I think it’s important that misinformation does not continue to spread and allow unnecessary deaths (or strain on the health care system)- I have yet to see a covid vaccine be the cause of death to thousands of people and ALL vaccines and drugs have side effects-  it’s sad to see someone prefer to choose death from covid over a day with body aches and chills, if they even experience side effects at all (from vaccine). All these deaths from those not vaccinated- I guess it’s Gods way of having Darwin’s theory play out. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have no time for those who can’t appreciate advances in modern day medicine (that’s why we have a higher life expectancy-thanks to modern medicine) or those who flood their “brains” with conspiracy theories.

There’s no requirement for anyone to get a covid vaccine, unfortunately. (Unless it’s job specific) I strongly urge you to get vaccinated so this thing can stop mutating and we can go back to living “normal”. Oh and to protect our kids who can’t get vaccinated.

Yes. The online service cheaper than an immigration attorney is... VisaJourney 😁

On the site's desktop version, look at the Guides for Adjustment of Status. Anyone can DIY it as long as they're careful and pay attention to details.

It is also recommended that the foreign beneficiary applies for SSN BEFORE getting married. Search the forums for the reasons why and the step by step process.

I am very sorry this happened.  But truth be told, the American Embassy does not care about your feelings.  While you feel this may be unjust and unfair, your feelings are not an urgent or emergency reason to grant a visa interview.

If you do pursue a letter writing campaign, what other reasons can you give, other than your feelings, as to why your mother urgently needs a visa to the US?  Because wanting to see a granddaughter, while important, does not an emergency make.

    Good luck

OP, please don’t take it personal when we say that Pakistan is a high fraud country. It’s been researched, it’s not us saying it, and honestly by taking it personally you’re not helping your cousin. Again, I do apologize if I hurt you with my post, but all I was trying to tell you is how the officers might see it unless your cousin and their spouse build a stronger case. With more visits, adding her to the bank accounts, submit joint tax returns, etc. For the timing itself, it’s all over the place with USCIS; some I-130s are approved quickly and some are siting there for months. Nobody can tell, really.
And the major of the city can’t do anything. Only the congressman can inquire about a case status, but that’s pretty much it.

Here's a list of high fraud countries, Pakistan is very much on it, yes.

Country with high rates of immigration fraud = high fraud country. The reason for why this is brought up in this thread is not to be rude, but that it will affect your cousin's immigration journey in one way or another. It's important to know about this.
