Lenchick got a reaction from JSWH in Ukraine dating agency woman
She is paid to scam men! For keeping them in the chat, doing as much video time as possible and meeting them for dates. Many of those dates that she won’t be even interested but will go on them anyway, because again she is paid. Also, some of those women are already married. They are just making money. I remember a billboard in Ukraine, a sarcastic one that said something like I’m such and such looking for my fiancé. We had great time but I cannot find her now. If someone knows her whereabouts, please let me know. Then her name, picture and some more details. I regret not taking picture of it. It’s was also very humorous. Of course he wasn’t looking for her any more but it was like WARNING! A scammer!

No, she is paid to scam those men. That would not be wise to list it as her job. Is she a registered employee there, is she registered with the government as a private entrepreneur? She chats with men and makes them believe she is actually interested in them while she is not. She just keeps them in the chat or on video as long as possible to get more money. Not a good place to find a fiancé. Maybe you are looking in all wrong places and then you wonder why your petition gets through the administrative processing. It obvioisly smelled fishy. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s going to be the same.

Lenchick got a reaction from Gitana in My girlfriend cannot get permission from her sons father.
She needs to go through the court
if the father is not in the picture at all, the court in Ukraine will quickly decide against the father, especially he is not even Ukrainian. Make sure you hire a lawyer and have $$$$. I would go directly to the court to ask if they have their own lawyers.

On the application you choose Washington DC - Washington field office and this is exactly where it's located in Fairfax

Hi! How is your case? I only got a message, that my fingerprints were done, and no actions were needed. Same as you, it was taken at the base in Germany, sealed in envelope. I’ll tell you more, first time uscis returned my package, I missed one page in application, and fingerprints envelope was open , I didn’t do fingerprints one more time, just sent it as it was. And they were fine with that. So maybe you had to write them a message that you had already sent them everything.
And last week I got notification that my interview was scheduled. So everything is quite fast, even as I chose Seattle.

Lenchick got a reaction from Aqualika in Applying for Citizenship while overseas
Only militariy spouses can have interviews at the consulate overseas provided they have been married and green card holders for required period of time. All the rest gov civilians included will need to fly to the US for the interview

Lenchick got a reaction from tenmiles in command sponsorship counts as accompanied overseas?
People above don’t know what they are saying. Yes, if you are allowed to live with him by his command then you can live overseas with him without being afraid of losing your US resident status. Just get an official letter from the office that serves active militaries that confirms it so that you wouldn’t worry.

Lenchick reacted to Ksenia_O in Kiev K1/K2 interview, question + advice needed
Hi.
I don't thing multiple divorces are gonna be an issue, as long as you are aware of them. As well as him still being married at the time of your first meeting - a lot of people don't file for divorce and just live separately . Or - a divorce is taking forever. Different situations, life happens.
Everything in the list is for K visa applicant. Not for USC. So I don't think you'd need your Fiance's birth certificate . But it probably won't hurt if you have certified copies of his divorce decrees. I had them (they were all requested from Court so were already "certified" copies) , along with copy of my husband's passport - biological page and pages, stamped by Customs as proof of his entries of Ukraine. Don't think the documents were requested during my interview, but having them with me definitely brought me some peace in mind.
I also had my hubby's Tax Transcripts, for the last 3 years, Bank Statement (few), Bank Letter, stating he's been the client since XXX and his current balance is $, and the Letter of Employment - to support our I-134. That's it.
As a USC your Fiance doesn't need to request a permission from the Embassy to be present there. He would need his passport though, to be allowed in.
Does it make a difference if a US petitioner is present at beneficiary's interview? - Probably. There are some Embassies, in certain countries there it is really important. But Kiev has never been a "tough" embassy.... As long as you have strong evidences of your ongoing relationship, you should be fine with or without him. But of course, if he can come to support you, then definitely go for that.
There are not any benefits for either English speaking kid, or non-speaking. All are equal. Besides, an interview can be provided on Ukrainian, russian or English - all up to you.
I know it's not required for a child under age 14 to be there. But it doesn't say a child can't be present at all.... So, I'd take the kid with me. Just in case - to avoid any possible issue or unpredictable situations. Besides, scheduling your K-1 interview, you 'll have to mention child there anyway..
Medical with a kid doesn't take any longer than without. People gossip If everything is fine and X-ray comes back negative, you should be able to pic up the medical results, for BOTH, the next day.
As for father's permission - as Lenchick mentioned, any notary knows what to do. The main thing - to bring child's father there and have him sign the paper.
I also had original documents with me and their copies with certified translation. Not required, but again - just in case, if any copy requested (they don't usually do it, but still - can ). Besides, I needed them later anyway - for SS Office, AOS and soon will need for my N-400, again. So it didn't hurt to get them done anyway.
Good luck!!!

Permition to acquire citizenship for the child doesn’t need to be mentioned in the father’s consent. It’s really irrelevant at this stage. The child will turn 18 probably By the time he will be eligibale to get naturalized.
As to how to write the consent, notaries know what to write in the consent. The most important is to make the father go there.

You should see the seal on it like in the pic attached. If it’s not on the package that ripped, then there is probably another package inside

Lenchick got a reaction from TM92 in Bringing Child from Russia to US - Father's Consent
not true about the age you specified. According to the Russian law the court will take into consideration the child's opinion when the child is at least 10, but at the age of 14 children can choose which parent they want to reside with.

Lenchick got a reaction from Lars & Sasha in Bringing Child from Russia to US - Father's Consent
I commented before time above, but actually went and read in Russian on some
lawyer website that the Russian law doesn’t say anything on permission from another parent for the child to permanently immigrate to another country. Although, if the parent is against it, he/she can file it through the court. Also, the border control won’t require the consent to leave Russia if the child is traveling with one of the parents. That’s probably why the US embassy in Russia doesn’t specify in the list of documents for the interview anything about biological parent consent or custody. But to be on a safe side, you can contact the embassy and ask. I know that some other Soviet countries require and so I assumed first that Russia did too. I read on forums that the border control in Russia has the database and if a parent doesn’t allow the child to immigrate the claim filed With a court will show up in their record

The father needs to go to the notary and write a statement. Notaries do it, they know what to write. It’s basically a statement that says that he allows his child to immigrate to the US and such. The father then signs it. This paper your fiancé should bring to the interview.

You don’t have to meet this father. I imagine it would be awkward. Neither does he have to go and pick up anything with your fiancé. Absolutely unnecessary and not even required.

Lenchick reacted to LenaT in Passport on hand after the interview
We like so many others these days are facing this problem at the moment. The officer and all the other sources promise 2-3 days to get your visa from the Pony Express office on Kurskaya after the approval at the interview. In reality it is rarely 2-3 days and more like 7-10. I think you guys should know that and plan accordingly... Try not to buy tickets before you have your passports, or at least buy refundable.
We had our interview on September 25, had Application Received on ceac.com the next day and Administrative Processing until Issued on day 3. Nothing from Pony Express, went there in person.
One more story: interview on September 20, status changed to Issued on September 27, nothing new since then.

well, if you follow the link i posted there is an instruction from the Ukrainian clinics, they have slightly different requirements. It only lists a case number without the letter.
