    I applied for the DV lottery 2025 and hope to be selected this year. My fiancé and I discovered that there is a fiancé visa for the USA. Do you think if we apply for the K1 visa but are selected for the DV lottery that we can stop the fiancé visa process? What are the timelines and options here :)?

    My fiancee arrived last month on K1 fiance visa and we got married yesterday. It seems from what I have seen online that I made a mistake by not getting SSN prior to marriage? I am going to the SSN office on Monday to gather more information... also worried about employment authorization and travel authorization(s). Thanks for any insights!

    Upon my gf's most recent arrival, her tourist visa was cancelled at the airport due to her frequent visits last year and suspicion of working here. She was denied entry and sent back same day. Is a CR1 or K1 visa process an option still? I would appreciate any advice or tips you can provide!

    We had our interview on 19th March 2024. The officer gave us a 221g slip and ticked on the documents she asked us to submit. She also ticked on the box which said to send passports via courier. After that our visa status showed refused. We submitted all the ticked documents on 15th April. Our case was updated on 23rd April but still showed refused. It got updated and on 25th april but still shows refused. Any idea why?

    Fiancee was born and grew up in a small town (Hau Giang) and can't find her immunization records and have not had any immunizations lately (besides Covid vaccines). Will she be required to take 10+ vaccinations before the upcoming scheduled interview date?

    If my girlfriend from Asia and I get married when she's here visiting for tourism, and she returns home so we can do the CR1 process, will the USCIS in the interview question why we got married using a tourist VISA? My girlfriend thought about this and has been in constant worry because she doesn't understand how the U.S. does things and I just want to calm her worry about this.

    Does anyone have experience with this and what the USCIS actually asks / looks for during the interview? And would they question about what I mentioned?

    So hello everyone, after posting in this group and learning so much things have gone to a bad turn. Things aren t going well at all and we both are considering a divorce. So here is the run down, she has never been in the United States and we had gotten Married in October (7months)of last year in Nigeria. I already filed the I-130 and still waiting. Regarding the divorce, how do I seek a divorce from my wife so she doesn t retain my last name. I could just leave but I do not think that s the right thing to do. Is it possible for me to file for a divorce without having to return to Nigeria? And I was reading about the 2 year rule of divorce in Nigeria and I was wondering if that applied to me since I m not a resident of Nigeria? I need help please!!!!

    Hello,

    We recently received our NOA2 for our K1 visa application and are now preparing for the medical exam and interview. As the beneficiary, I'm considering getting the required vaccines in advance, but I'm unsure which ones are necessary.

    I've read various accounts online about the medical exam experiences, with some individuals receiving multiple shots while others only received a couple. I'm hesitant to undergo multiple vaccinations so close to my interview date, as I'm concerned about potential side effects that could affect my health during the interview.

    Could anyone provide advice or share their experiences regarding which vaccines are necessary for the K1 visa medical exam? I found a list on the CDC website (see attached picture), but I want to ensure it's accurate before proceeding.

      I was looking at your timeline and saw you sent in form I29F after filing the i130. It seems that everything went so quick for your process. Do you think sending in the i29F is worth it and might speed up the i130? 
      What steps can you suggest ?

      Hey Shawnk, I am in a similar situation as you with my timelines. Someone recommended the same process as you mentioned to get a dual working visa. Do you have more detail on what dual intent working visa entails? What do i need to prove to get one.

      How much is the current fee for paper mailing the US naturalization Citizenship fee? Does it include the Biometric fee? Or is it combine now?
