If interview is not getting scheduled, does that only mean that background checks are pending ? is there any way to check.  Emma agents are of no help.

There is no way for you to know what the status of your application is or whether or not background checks are pending. No one is going to give you that information. Plus, you filed on 02/07, that was pretty recently. Nothing about your application is outside of normal processing times. Would just try to stay patient. You'll hear back soon for an interview.

Btw the estimated timeline is really unreliable. When I submitted it was 4 months, and then it went down to 3 months. Yesterday it jumped back to 7 months AFTER I have gotten the interview notice for May 22nd (roughly 3 months from my submission). Seattle does same day oath so it'll likely be 3 months (unless I mess it up)

yes those numbers are useless. I used to think that those numbers are getting updated everything my file is touched , turned out to be all random. 

 

Someone with oath ceremony tomorrow still showing 3 months

Every single person gets the same timeline. It’s based on how fast 80% of the cases in your category hear back

I thought the same but they are showing 7 months for my spouse and 5 months for me. Both of us applied the same day under the 5 year rule

Just got an email notification saying our interview has been scheduled for May 23rd in Baltimore. It doesn't say anything about a combo interview or anything regarding our pending I-751.

Yeah but you have your interview date and your spouse doesn't? That would explain why you have different timelines. Like your spouse, mine is also showing 7 months, because I don't have my interview yet

These numbers are random, it's safe to ignore them.

They didn’t ask to see anything outside of passport green card and ID. She told me after the oath my daughter and I could apply for passports and if she was to be without a valid passport she may have to apply for N-600 to prove citizenship.
