  1. Hey, Congratulations. Did they mention if it will be a combo interview?
  2. We're on the same page. We've attached a letter stating, 'We're still awaiting approval for ROC,' and we're writing this letter to request a ROC interview waiver or a combo interview. Let's see how it goes.
  3. We applied for citizenship on February 24th, exactly one year after submitting our I-751. Our N400 application now says biometrics reuse, and its status is currently 'Case is being actively reviewed.
  4. We applied for citizenship on February 24th, exactly one year after submitting our I-751. Our N400 application now says biometrics reuse, and its status is currently 'Case is being actively reviewed.' I can also see the current estimated wait time for the N400 process is 7 months. As for our I-751, there has been no update other than confirmation that the case was received.
  5. Do we have to wait until May 17th, 2024 (3 years) to apply for N400, or can we do that 90 days before, just like we did for I-751 (Feb 17th)?"
  6. That's true. My wife holds an Indian passport, and I am quite certain it will not help. We are planning to travel to Chile, i just wish the i751 process was quicker 🥲, so she could user her GC to travel.
  7. I read on Reddit that a few people were denied entry to Mexico because their Green Card was expired and they didnt accept the extension letter. I also checked the websites of Nicaragua and Costa Rica, and they clearly state that they do not accept expired Green Cards or extension letters. . Have you tried it?
  8. Has anyone applied for a visa to a foreign country using their expired Green Card, extension letter, and foreign passport? If so how did it go? We are planning to apply for visas to several Central American countries, which are otherwise free with a valid Green Card
  9. Indian Passport 😢, so GC is the only way to enter Mexico and other Central American countries.
  10. Thank you so much. Now it makes more sense to not get the passport stamped. According to our current timeline, we won't get anything approved until the end of 2024. Canada specifically states that you can travel with an expired GC and an extension letter, but that's the only country that allows it. We actually want to travel to the UAE, Mexico, and, if possible, Costa Rica. However, these countries generally require a valid GC to enter, so we're not sure if they will accept the extension letter from USCIS
  11. How difficult is it to get the 48 month GC extension stamped on the passport? We are thinking of traveling to Mexico and read in reddit that few people had difficultly boarding flight to Mexico because their GC was expired and the agent/airlines didn't accept the extension letter. I heard its a hit or miss when it comes to travel using expired GC and extension letter except for Canada.
  12. No, Application should be under her green card name. When they ask about passport details put the name on the passport there. Thats how we did for ours, if i remember it correctly.
  13. Yes, we both got our Global entry card last month. Just use the name in her GC for global entry application. Once we did that the application went through. Hope this helps. Good luck
  14. Thank you so much, i just followed this and i was able to apply for GE for my wife. Now lets wait and see how long it will take for her to get a conditional approval. I got my conditional approval today ( 5 day after applying), but there no appointments available anywhere near me. I heard its a hit or miss, my friend got his approved in 2 days and my other friend who applied a day after took almost 6 months. Good luck, hopefully you will hear something soon.🤞
  15. Yup, and with current immigration timeline i dont see that happening in next 3 years. 😅
  16. Changing passport name is a length process for India, atleast thats what she told me, i am actually worried it will complicate her permanent GC process. Her conditional GC will expire in May and i dont want change her passport in between the applications.
  17. I actually applied for GE and mine was pretty straight forward since i am a US citizen, when i tried to apply for my wife, i got an error saying "The name or date of birth entered on your U.S. Passport or Permanent Resident Card, does not match the Profile on this account." Her Indian passport has her maiden name and GC has my last name. I dont know whats the work around for it. I havent tried TSA Precheck yet, not sure if she will get the same error for it.
  18. Thank you. So i guess we wont be able for apply online. I dont know if they will take walk in applications. Most of the global entry application center in airports near me are temporarily closed. I am wondering if i can apply for tsa precheck instead and then wait for my US citizenship and apply for GE.🤔
  19. Hello "The name or date of birth entered on your U.S. Passport or Permanent Resident Card, does not match the Profile on this account." I am stuck here, did anyone figure out a work around for it? Thank you Jish
