After seeing the actual FB page post/ FB comments and after rethinking this, this has all the earmarks of a romance scam.  I'm not sure the "boyfriend" actually traveled to the US. The word "catfish" come to mind.

I've seen a lot of videos similar to this.

August 7, 2022: Wife filed N-400 Online under 5 year rule.

November 10, 2022: Received "Interview is scheduled" letter.

December 12, 2022:  Received email from Dallas office informing me (spouse) to be there for combo interview.

December 14, 2022: Combo Interview for I-751 and N-400 Conducted.

January 26, 2023: Wife's Oath Ceremony completed at the Plano Event Center, Plano, Texas!!!😁

February 6, 2023: Wife's Passport Application submitted in Dallas, Texas.

March 21, 2023:   Wife's Passport Delivered!!!!

May 15, 2023 (about):  Naturalization Certificate returned from Passport agency!!

 

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Good point. I wonder if they booked the flight for him, or just sent him the money for him to do it.

 

I've just looked it up on FB out of interest, lots of outrage on the post from people who don't understand how it works! I wonder if anybody has shown her this thread, the OP hasn't been back.

Has the girlfriend met the wife?

 

You know way back in the day, my husband came to see me and had I dunno... something like $200 in his pocket and was going to stay with me. Now the officer did admonish him for having such a "low" amount, but at the time my husband explained that he was a student, that I/family would be paying for his stay, and that he had a bank account with plenty of money in it. Of course they did grill him, as it was his first trip here, but for every probing question asked my husband had a truthful and correct answer.

 

Not sure what happened here, but I hope the wife knows what her husband is up to. Also the comments on this facebook post are.....uuumm...  I started yelling at the screen and had to close the window.

It appears Dani is a single Mother of 5 and in an open relationship, looking at the totality of the situation I doubt she has visited him in Australia.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.
