Hi! I just checked my status update for removal of conditions and it says my new card was mailed to me!! Does this mean I was approved?! I didn’t even have an interview.

Has this happened to anyone else?
Thanks!

Congratulations! Yes, I’ve heard from other people who were approved without an interview, so no worries there.

Now, if the same could happen to me, that would be great! 🤣

This is not unusual.  USCIS has had the option to approve without an interview for years.  Besides, the I-751 is nothing more than a money making scheme for USCIS.  Congratulations.

I’m surprised because I didn’t even get a notice of approval. I guess they’re sending both approval and card in the mail in one letter?

No.  The approval notice will come separately.....but you don't need it.

It's very common, tons of us never had an interview for ROC. The general "rule" is if you had an interview for AOS, you don't get one for ROC. Obviously an IO can request an interview for anybody if they feel there's something fishy going on or if the evidence isn't enough, but generally you don't get one for ROC if you had one for AOS

No, I had my I-485 interview in February 2020 and got my 2 year conditional green card. So I was surprised to have the interview waived this time for I-751! 😃

That's the norm, you have an interview for one or the other, usually not both.

Unless they suspect something is off and then  you will get an interview for both, and they will put each in different rooms and ask questions and see if they match.

Which isn't that common, but hence I used the word "usually".
