How can I get the 48 months extension letter for I-751

We just received ours, we didn't ask for it.  I guess that means they are running way behind schedule.  🙂

They (USCIS) are slowly starting to send them out it should not be to much longer for you all to receive them! Several folks including me have gotten them in the last couple of days!

Just to be clear, are you saying that people who already received a 24 month extension letter are getting "replacement" 48 month letters in the mail?

 

My wife just got her 24 month letter in October so are they only sending these out for people whose extensions are close to expiring?

Everyone whose case is still pending, should receive one sooner or later.

USCIS changed from 24 to 48 months on the GC extensions for the I-751. USCIS is starting to send the new 48 month letters out to eligible people yes!

I can tell you later today when my mail gets delivered. I filed in early Jan 2023 and received a 24 month letter, I have USCIS mail coming today which I assume will be the 48 month letter.

Haha my "informed delivery" email shows a letter to my wife from USCIS today too.

Yeah she got the 48 month extension letter today,  even though she had 20 months left on the 24 month extension. Texas Service Center I think.

Update: I just got yesterday the 48 months extension letter after having my 24 months one back in December
