Hi everyone!

I'm sorry if someone's already answered this but when your case arrives at the nvc do they just email you or tell you, or can you only know if you reach out to them?

Also does USCIS send cases out whenever they're approved or do they go out in batches every few weeks?

What does you ceac tracking say ? at NCV ? They should send more cases to embassies on the 14th and 15th.

Ceac says "at NVC".  I was just concerned that I might need to get a senator involved or inquire again if it's only supposed to take around a week to transfer to the embassy.  Has anyone else had a shorter turn around time with NVC case creation time to transit to embassy?

I have the same NOA2 date as you and also “at NVC”. I anticipate our batch of cases will be shipped to the embassies on 2/14, as biscoito1r mentioned, as long as there are no backlogs at our particular embassies.

Hello!  Our case was created with NVC on January 20th, but we've yet to hear anything else.  All we were told was that we'd be informed when our case was sent to the embassy.  I saw someone mention in a post here that it should be a week tops for our case to be transferred to the embassy.  Anyone far enough along in the process that they can comment on whether that's normal or what the estimated time should be from case creation to embassy transfer?  Or maybe there's a different thread I should join for those who received their NOA2 in November (our NOA2 was November 11th)

You might also want to check the November 2022 NOA2 thread for those with NOA2 in November. It also generally shouldn't take 3 weeks after ship date to embassy but you could send an inquiry to check on the status.

Hey, what made you think they’ll be sent to the embassy on the 14th Feb?

We had our noa2 9th Dec and last Monday they replied saying they were doing admin work on ours. No other update since 🤷‍♀️

Have you received your Case Number or Welcome Letter since that?

Haven’t received anything yet. I read that the beneficiary receives an email to say it’s been sent to the embassy? I’ve not received anything.

Sorry to hear that friend, I would ping them again just to be safe and ensure everything is making the rounds properly.

Public Inquiry Form (state.gov)

if you really under a situation where you are going to be at a disadvantage you can try and expedite, I know plenty of people who have made plans for marriage trips, etc at this point where it becomes a nuisance and a bad situation if they do not have confirmation after a certain date.

Yeah we’re in a pickle with some crucial arrangements to do with my daughter and needing to apply for parole as well.

Hey! Happy to share how I've been nerd-ing out over this! So I've been looking at timelines here on VisaJourney, particularly people's NOA2 dates and NVC receive dates. I also looked for dates that people got their NVC case numbers. The pattern shows that, recently, cases have often (not always) been sent out around roughly 3 months after the NOA2 and around roughly 3 weeks after NVC case creation. This does vary, of course.

Then I looked at the calendar of dates the NVC supposedly ships cases to embassies, which I got from the Facebook group for "July & August 2021 K1 Visa Filers".

February 14, the next shipping date, seems to line up with my timeline based on the stats I mentioned above. (My NOA2 is 11/14 and NVC case creation date was 1/21.) I know that this is not a guarantee and things can always change, but it does give me some idea of when I might be able to expect my case to be sent out.

Although it's not certain, hope it helps!

Wow, absolutely phenomenal find, as I’m sure this will put a lot of people’s minds at ease by seeing this. Out of curiosity, do you know if Expedites at the NVC Level factor out shopping dates? My fiancé and I got two expedites from the Biden Administration (USCIS, NVC) (USICS approved) (NVC awaiting response) and were wondering if that had any impact on ship dates. Thanks for dropping this information in the thread man that has been actually a big ease on my current situation and I’m sure many others. Public inquiries can only detail so much.

Thanks! I'm just like you all and anxiously awaiting my case to move forward, so happy to do what I can to share my observations.

I did notice a few cases that were processed more quickly than the averages that I mentioned in my previous post, including a couple of rare cases that were shipped outside of the normal shipping dates on the calendar I shared. So, yes, I imagine it is possible that an expedite could cause the case to be shipped more quickly, but I really don't know for sure. Also keep in mind that these dates are just what VisaJourney members report, and accuracy could vary.

Wow thank you for this! Is it really THREE months even though on the actual NOA2 letter it says, “we have sent your case to the nvc”? I thought it took 30-45 days?

Sorry, I meant the NVC tends to ship cases to embassies around 3 months after NOA2.

The USCIS does indeed ship cases to the NVC in around 30-45 days, which is an earlier step.

Hope that clears it up! I couldn't edit my original post.

Oh right! Phew! Nah that’s all good that makes sense with what my understanding of it was too. Thank you!!
