Really happy for you man! It gives me a spark of hope that I will follow your scenario, and that my case just takes longer to process. I still didn't hear back after my inquiry that I sent 4 days ago.

100s of calls and e-mails to congress

8-23-22 uscis Approved but retained at Potomac/local field office

More calls to congress

10-31-22 case sent to NVC and welcome letter received 

11-14-22 all required docs submitted to NVC

11-15-22 to 11-28-22 additional documents uploaded

12-20-22 received DQ email

Congrats!!!!!!! The email is all that matters, but surely it eases the mind to see the portal updated too. Do you think it’s the congressional inquiry that helped?

So, I never sent anything to a congressperson... I had decided that I would only do that if nothing happened by the time I got back from vacation.

Got 1 DQ late yesterday for my mom's IR5, but nothing for my dad so far. The emails always came together before, hopefully my dad's will get looked at today. The weird thing is that for my mom all the documents said accepted even when we got an RFE, but for my dad i864a was actually rejected. I wonder if this makes a difference.

Update on my dummy NVC email of the 16th.

I sent an enquiry asking why there has been no update. I have received an email today on the 22nd from the NVC stating, that additional documents are required. I find this hard to believe because we have gone through all the requirements with our lawyer multiple times (and our case is rather simple) in addition there is still no update on the CEAC website about what is required.

Seems like they are covering up for their delays with bogus emails, or at least making mistake after mistake.

Yay! Received DQ email late last night, no update on the CEAC website yet. The CEAC tracker says "At NVC". Any reason to believe that the website status would be different from the DQ email in any case?
