Someone should make a new thread for December DQs

Actually the next step depends on the embassy where we go to.  So we will not be together,  we should follow our embassy where the consular processing should take place.

That makes sense. Best of luck everyone!

Hi everyone,

I just discovered this thread. Here is my case;

I got DQed email on the 21st of December but 2 of my joint sponsor document status is still showing submitted. WHat do you think I should do? Still wait or send them an email?

It's a copy paste my situation, also all documents accepted except for the first two of the required for the joint sponsor. Didn't get DQed, but the FE review note didn't say anything about those documents that are still at 'Submitted', so it's 99% a bug and you shouldn't worry about it. There were many issues with the website recently, it's probably the next one.

Hi everyone,

I submitted my DS 160 and got confirmation later dated 14-Nov-22, but the last document (Police certificate) that I submitted were on 6-Dec-22.

Current case review time: As of 3-Jan-23, we are reviewing documents submitted to us on 29-Nov-22.

Which date does NVC use for the current case review time?

NVC takes the last date when you submitted the main documents.  PCC is one of the main document.  In your case it is Dec 6th.   You will get it reviewed later this week.

We ended up writing a letter of explanation along with both the IRS Transcript (originally we submitted the tax returns) and 2021 T4s. We submitted this yesterday, December 28th, so I'll update whenever we hear back. Hopefully this is sufficient but it sounds like we won't know until ~February 1st.

DQ'd this morning!! 🥲
