Just got an RFE today, for uploading our 1040's instead of our 1099's. Also, they said we did not sign a part of the I-864A, but when looking at my document, I definitely did sign it. What do I do in this situation? Upload a file saying they made a mistake?

Also, anybody else having issues with the CEAC website?

Regarding I-864A not being signed, can you confirm both the signature and signature date are hand written?

Yes, just checked, signature and date signed in ink. Clear scan. The only issue I could possibly think of is maybe the date is from March? I doubt that would be a problem though.

No paper letter.  Only email and CEAC inbox message.

what kind of message do you receive once you are DQed?

thanks!

Got 2 emails. 1 basically saying there was update. Then another one straight after saying I was document qualified.

On the ceac website got one message that just said ‘document qualified’

Im starting to believe that my case got pushed back after being reviewed on July 13. I added a additional document on June 21. Maybe by the end of August Ill get DQed .

Why will they push it back manually? Is it possible?

Edit: I noticed that they moved an additional document to required. That could have triggered a reset to my case.

Moving a document from additional to required is standard practice. If all documents have been accepted, and nothing else was required, I bet somebody at NVC dropped the ball and forgot to check a box or press a button.

Did you send them an inquiry to look into since the direct phone calls have been stopped?

11/17/2016: Got engaged
11/28/2016: I-130 sent to Chicago IL lock box
01/12/2016: NOA1

I sent them an inquiry immediately  on July 13. Im very very sad. I had 2 RFE on my birthday on April at 11:50pm. I resubmitted documents on May 11 and then I received only 1 email with updated status " accepted". Now I have to wait either inquiry or a DQ IDK when.

Got an RFE today requesting my petitioner to submit w2 1099 , submitted May 31st.

Quick question does submitting this document mean i would have to wait another 2 months for it to be reviewed⁈

You submitted everything on May 31st and today you received a message asking for RFE.

It's interesting to see this since they aren't supposed to go that fast. Maybe there are two steps:

- Step 1: Where one official "review" the documents are uploaded correctly.

- Step 2: Another official go through the forms to make sure everything is correct and all requirements are met.

Don't take my word for it, I'm just trying to understand how they work with this process.

I would say you could be reviewed in a couple of weeks since they have been reviewing cases with submissions by May 19th (based on @webber777, who got DQ yesterday).

Unfortunately the only way to know is waiting until they review your case. Other members could know or have something that can answer your question.

Good luck!
