  1. I did get this message on the portal, but the email was just the usual "Notice regarding your Immigrant Visa Case". Is this normal or should I have gotten an email by now?
  2. Got all our documents accepted on the 5th after seeing we had an update on our file (1 day after RFE), still waiting for any DQ email or anything from the Tokyo embassy. Is it typical for NVC to send a DQ email or do we just sit tight for the embassy message?
  3. I just got a DQ!! Super surprising because I got an FE case review last week and just submitted the fixes last night. Woke up to a DQ. Crazy! Hopefully the other person in a similar situation has the same happen to them.
  4. Thanks for that, much appreciated. I live abroad and so therefore do not have any US income, and am using my parents' retirement income (all of their 1099s) to satisfy the financial requirements. Would this and proof of my capital gains I attained via interest (the only income listed as AGI in 2021) make NVC happy? I am worried as 1099 is not considered a "tax return" or "tax transcript" that is listed on the I-864 but at the moment we do not have a tax return for 2021, and I cannot access tax transcripts due to not having a US phone number to use the IRS website.
  5. I received an RFE for not uploading my 2021 1099's/W-2's (I assumed that 1040 was sufficient). My I-864s were accepted except for one error on my I-864A. Should I update my I-864s' income and signature dates? Or just fix the issues they outlined and hope they accept my 2020 incomes being the last ones listed on the 864? I am worried because I don't want to complicate things that say they have been "accepted", but at the same time, 2021 should be the most current income and I don't want to get another RFE.
  6. For anybody in the future with a similar case, it seemed to randomly fix itself this morning after the weekend.
  7. Hi, I received some notes on the CEAC website claiming that I need to upload my 1099's from 2021 and change a part on a signature. It says that these are "case FE"s, and do not indicate whether it is an RFE. It seems like I need to upload an official RFE document after fixing my mistakes, but I never received any document. What should I do? Thanks for any help.
  8. I've tried for 3 days now on different browsers, computers, and phones. Nothing seems to work, sadly.
  9. I received an RFE and I've been trying to fix it, but every time I go on the CEAC website to upload my files, it logs me out immediately with the prompt "Application Error" listed. Seeing as the phone number has been deactivated, I am not sure how to fix this. I have already sent an inquiry but I do not want to have to wait an additional few weeks or months on top of the already lengthy review time. Anybody know how to contact some sort of technical support to fix this? Thanks for any help or pointers, I would really appreciate it.
  10. Yes, just checked, signature and date signed in ink. Clear scan. The only issue I could possibly think of is maybe the date is from March? I doubt that would be a problem though.
  11. Just got an RFE today, for uploading our 1040's instead of our 1099's. Also, they said we did not sign a part of the I-864A, but when looking at my document, I definitely did sign it. What do I do in this situation? Upload a file saying they made a mistake? Also, anybody else having issues with the CEAC website?
