This happened to me too and I had to wait 3 more weeks approximately. I think this happens if you reupload requiered documents to additional just before being DQed. By the way, my spouse is already in the US since that was last year. Hope this helps

No, it's normal processing. I am following someone from the same Embassy and got IL in a month. I was sure I was in the same track.

I got the interview letter today at 2:59pm ET. Ohhhh Im so happy!!!!!! Interview is for November

The system is confusing. It sarts counting from the first document, but if you add an additional document, it might reset. If you add additional documents, maybe not. In my case I added additional documents and it wasn't reseted

For me it was like 55 additional days. Resubmit asap

How can I expedite my case. I was QD on August 12. I want it to move faster to the embassy. Do I have to do a letter or statement or just an regular email? I need some clues to push my case to the embassy faster because I already have been RFE and Im so exhausted.

Same thing happened to me, and after 3 weeks I got the DQ message

Ill add a joint sponser tomorrow even if CO says my income is enough . Im not going to risk any chances and I won't lose anything by adding my uncle who offered himself. Thank you like always! What made me think was that they sent me a notice on April, 27 and July 13 and never said anything about my income until yesterday. Our Embassy is Honduras. We hope we get the interview date soon.

Sure ok.So CO could delay my spouse's visa if they ask for a joint sponser on the interview? Its been 13 years working for a state agency and they only calculated the gross payment, without the bonus and over time that will go over $45k. I already asked my uncle to be my joint sponsor; I will not risk or contend NVC since I have everything to lose. Thanks for the advise.

Yes I got DQ with FE saying that my income is not enough but that it is up to the consular officer to decide and also that may use a joint sponsor. " may" meaning if I want. My annual wage is over 40,000. I will have 4 in my household including my spouse. Thanks for your reply. Why will they say that my income is not enough 😒? The poverty guidelines is $34,000 for 4, Im above that.

Today At 12:49am I got DQ from RFE from April 27 an resubmitted on May 11 and reviewed on July 13 without DQ. They also sent me an email that they will schedule an appointment with the US Embassy/ Consulate General. They also added a note the my case does not meet the minimum requirement for intending immigrant. Doesn't make sense, my household on the application is 4, 2 minors from joint custody, my spouse and I. My household is only 4 According to poverty guidelines for the lower 48 states and US TERRITORY, 125% for 4 is $34,687 and Im over $40,000+ according to my W2. I can even add a 5th person to my household. Why they didn't add this note on my first RFE on April 27 or July 13 when they reviewed the case without any DQ notice? Is this a error? Why is this going so hard on me? Is my case on hold until I submitt a joiny sponsor or will they send me Who should I add as a joint sponsor if so? My father is retired and receives social security and I can't seem to think of someone that I can add income as a joint sponer. She has siblings from her country, I think it has to be from US. Am I right? I need some advise 😩 Someone told me to wait for the interview without adding a joint sponsor and explain to them. That will be my wife since I can't go inside the interview.

Is it ok to send my case number to the senator or congressman 🤔?

Yep!! Only one email that my case has been updated and I was so happy, but when I check, I only see that all documents has been accepted including the resubmitted one from RFE, but there is no DQ message. I sent an inquiry to see if it was an error. What is shocking to me is that some re-upload documents and get reviewed immediately. Why will they push me back if that's the case?
