Have you checked back to see if the profile was updated? As @Caro1 mentioned, you won’t be DQed until you see the “Documentary Qualified” message. It can be seen from the CEAC platform. The same is true for the RFE. A message or more is listed once they require some documents. With that said, if you don’t see any message, let’s wait a couple of hours more and see what happens.

@powerpuff already answer your question. But I want to add that the online option is actually superior to the mailing process since everything is submitted immediately, and you don't need to wait for the papers to arrive by mail to a USCIS office and all those issues with processing papers nowadays.

Generally speaking, there are three main entities involved in the immigration process: - USCIS: they verify the petitioner documents and relationship to ensure that the petition is valid. - NVC: they verify the applicant (intending immigrant). Their job is to guarantee all documents needed are there for the interview. That's why they request the affidavit of support forms, police reports and others. - Consulate: they have access to all documents and have the final decision to either accept or deny a visa once the interview is done. So as you see, each of these have their own role. Since there are so many visa types and documents for every country, it's necessary to split the process into multiple steps.

Submitted Document not Viewed Yet?
NikoTaino replied to whansen's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
Well, that's bad. I thought you were DQed since you said you're still waiting for an interview. So it looks like you haven't submitted the documents to the CEAC profile. You and your spouse petitioner need to submit the requested documents and click "submit documentation" once they are ready. If you don't know how to do it, look for help other than the attorney. I don't understand how your case is being there with no attention at all. -
Submitted Document not Viewed Yet?
NikoTaino replied to whansen's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
Quick question: Do you see the "Documentary Qualitified" message in your CEAC profile? I want to make sure we're both on the same page, specially now that you say "and the arrows are still pointing at ‘submit civil documentation". This doesn't seem to be right. I mean -

NikoTaino replied to whansen's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
Documents submitted after your case is "Documentary Qualified" won't be reviewed by the NVC officers. I suppose the document is showing the "Submitted" status, that's ok. Once your interview is scheduled, an officer from the US consulate will review all the documents you have submitted. Again, there's nothing to worry about if you are DQed. 🙂 -

F2A process of a derivative
NikoTaino replied to Miss1's topic in Bringing Family Members of Permanent Residents to America
Yes. That's why they are asking for it. That's simple. I recommend taking a colored photo of your baby and cropping it following these instructions https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/photos.html There is a photo tool to crop it automatically. https://tsg.phototool.state.gov/photo It doesn't matter how old your baby is, you are required to submit a passport-style photo of her. -

From an official USA page https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/photos.html As @Miss1 and @arken mentioned, a passport-style photo is what you need to submit. For instance (see attached image). Note: The image has been pixelated on purpose since it is not mine. Make sure the one you submit is high quality. Disclaimer: I've found this image via google. -
k3 cr-1 i129f Writing N/A in all the blank space?
NikoTaino replied to RacD's topic in K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
Up to you. You are not obligated to fill all the empty spaces with N/A. Keep in mind you should fill out all the required fields and if they don't apply to you, then a N/A or None for numbers is recommended. See the 3rd page from the instructions document https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-129finstr.pdf: For instance. Don't you have a middle name? Then N/A. Otherwise, you don't need to bother adding N/As for interpreter's and prepare's fields. One more thing, don't forget to sign by hand in black ink. 🙂 Good luck!- 4 replies

Filling out 6.c. with two middle names?
NikoTaino replied to MT0756's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
Does your full name in your passport have both middle names? If so, feel free to type your first, middle and last names as they are in your passport. -

I130 passport photo
NikoTaino replied to DAYEE28's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
They just want to make sure your appearance is as updated as possible. It shouldn't be an issue, to be honest with you. It should be ok If your appearance hasn't changed since then. Good luck! -
Hi there, I've been looking for some Santo Domingo threads to keep myself updated with the waiting timelines for the interview letter and the scheduled interview date. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to see updated entries on the subjet. If your case is going to be processed at Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and you were DQ, please post your DQ date and let us know once you receive your interview letter. Let's share this information with other members from the same country so everyone is aware. You know how we are! 🙂 To begin, our case was DQ last September 9th, 2022. I hope to get the Interview Letter (IL) by mid December or so, about three months after being DQ. Have a nice day!

I130 passport photo
NikoTaino replied to DAYEE28's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
From the I-130 instructions document, page 6-7. https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-130instr.pdf These instructions are clear but there is an official tool that can help you crop and make sure the photo is right. Go there and see the requirements and tool for cropping and confirming the photo meets the specifications: Photo requirements Disclaimer: This information page and requirements are for US visas. Despite this, most of the requirements are the same for the I-130 form. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/photos.html#immigrant Photo tool https://tsg.phototool.state.gov/photo Good luck! -
Once you get access to the CEAC platform, I recommend updating and including your email address. In that way, you receive all the notifications from NVC as well.

Circumstances Have Changed Prior to Interview (Submit a new DS160?)
NikoTaino replied to thephdguy's topic in Tourist Visas
It's ok to have the interview. Unfortunately, as you mentioned, you can't change the DS-160 attached to your Visa application. I would you fill out a new DS-160 and bring its confirmation page to the interview along with the other one you filed in 2021. I'm not an expert but this is how we do it in my country. The idea is to let the office know that things have changed since then. They could decide whether to consider the new form to use the old one. Make sure you bring documentation to support your application. Good luck!
