Simplistically NVC's job is to send petitions to the Consulate which is not applicable in DCF cases as it is already there.

I was told that since our case was accepted and approved, that it now needed to be sent to the NVC to be created in the “system” and then once that happened they’ll be able to go from there.

Is it possible that document gathering (for the interview) has been pushed to NVC?  The previous process required the support affidavit to be sent to the embassy before interview with medical, police, all as one set

That is what I am thinking also.  Unfortunately, it will possibly require fees and a 3 month wait for NVC to "approve" the documents.

Well, at least the agonizing USCIS segment was eliminated......

My question is whether the OP's case will enter the London queue at NVC, or will it be immediately pushed back to the consulate for interview scheduling....

The Embassy now only accepts DCF for exceptional circumstances, I’m not sure if I’m waiting for NVC to approve my docs or not. I only submitted the basic I-130 package. Nothing more or less.

Looking at previous posts and my circumstances, I believe the embassy will immediately pull it once whatever’s completed with what we have to wait for the 12 weeks.

Why else would the case have been sent back to NVC?  That is where they normally collect and approve the documents.  Keep us posted...
