The issue is the wackadoo radicals you mentioned are the ones with the loudest voices.

That is exactly the point. Like I said if you are a woman who doesn't want a family but wants a career instead I have absolutely no problem with that. What I do have a problem with is the more radicalized feminists demonizing and attacking women who choose to take on a more "traditional" role. Not to mention demonizing and attacking men who want a family and want their wife to give them children. I have literally seen some of the radicals saying that consensual sex between a married couple is actually rape by the man and that all men are basically rapists without knowing it. By the way to be clear I never once said I endorse the viewpoint of the professor that the article is about. Just pointing out there are radicals on both sides of the issue. And yes I do believe the phrase "feminazi" is a fitting term for the radicals within the feminist movement and no I am not labeling all feminists as feminazis so if you are not a radical within the feminist movement you have no reason to be offended.

The professor  is "demonizing" or at least demeaning women who have a STEM career.

and a radical feminist is what again? I have never heard anyone, feminist or no suggest that consensual sex with a married couple is rape. That would be radical and so rare, that I don't know where you possibly heard it.

There's some non-VJ words on the site, so I won't link to it since someone might report, but just search for the term "PIV is rape", and you can see that there exist a group of people who believe it.

In fact, we had a member here on VJ a few years back who was basically saying that all sex was rape, or words to that effect.

Why is feminism even a thing nowadays?  Women can do pretty much any job men can do.  Time for the notion that our culture is against this to go away.

Not to mansplain it to you, but if they can do pretty much any job then they should receive pretty much similar pay, which is not the case.

Pretty sure Kamala is making the same salary as Pence did.

Women in the military make the same pay as the men do (though they are allowed to perform to a lower standard for that same pay).

I'm sure they still exist today (the good ole boy network jobs) where men make more than women.  But for the past 25+ years, men and women have all been paid exactly the same in my multiple jobs.

Maybe we could just all agree the Prof is living in a place 100 years ago and does not represent most in the academic community or hopefully in the general public.

Seems like it has wandered into some radical feminism debate, which it really is not .

I always love the Leftist talking points.  I do not know of a woman in our company doing the same job as a man that gets paid less on an annual basis.  Of course when you factor in things like unpaid leaves for pregnancy, or such, it makes it look bad.  It is the same sort of the creative accounting that those in DC use to make a rally bad bill look good.

No issues with people's individual decisions, have a problem with fundamental re-writing of society to fit a certain political narrative all in the name of "progress".
