my fiance already has both shots for the covid virus. I was wondering,  for the K1 Visa if she could get the MMR, Tetnus, Hepatitis B Etc vaccines in Brazil prior to her interview. I was wondering if that's acceptable.. Or does it have to be in the united states.   Than you

Vaccines are normally given during the medical exam in home country before the K-1 interview.

if she already has the vaccines she needs to take a copy of her vaccination records. also for k1 the vaccines are usually not mandatory, but if she already has them even better. for k1 you can opt to get them or not at the medical exam, if you do, they are very expensive.

They are required for Adjustment of Status.

okay because she has an appointment this Tuesday I thought it would be beneficial to get it ahead of time because I thought in the back of my mind that it would be very expensive at the exam. thank you

Depends on the country and locale, does it not?

Vaccines aren't technically required for a k-1, however they are for AOS. And yes, they can just get them once in the US, but they'll pay for them here too. Not only that, but they'll pay for a civil surgeon to do an I-693 and perhaps another medical exam because it can be difficult to find a civil surgeon that will only sign off on the vaccinations. If a K-1 entrant has a completed DS-3025 from their visa medical, then they don't need an I-693 when filing for AOS as long as they file within a year of their K-1 medical.

OP> I suggest you have her get the vaccinations there before her medical, and take the records to have the panel physician mark them off on her DS-3025. AOS is easier with a DS-3025 that's marked complete. There's a pinned topic in the AOS forum with more info on this.

Thank you. Thats good information as well.  With that being said, is there a post list of the required vaccines on the government website?

The doctor performing the visa medical exams will review her vaccine record and advise if any are needed. If any of the mandatory vaccines are needed, the doctor will usually administer them during the examination.

When your fiancé will do his medical they will give him the option to either get the vaccine in his very own country at that very particular medical center or in US. At the medical your fiancé has already submitted DS160 and in that form if he said yes to a question whether he has the appropriate vaccination then he needs to get those vaccine at medical center in his own country. They will give the vaccine to him on his medical day appointment.
