My wife is past her 18 month extension letter with no updates other then transferring her case to a new office.....no valid green card causes all sorts of problems........such as I can't get past the IDme site on the US Tax office, drivers license etc, proving idenity, let alone traveling anybody else haveing the same experience?

You need to call up USCIS and set up an info pass appointment for a i551 stamp in her passport.

Applied for my ROC November 2019 so almost two years ago.

Ain't received nothing. All my stuff has been expired since June. Went to my ROC interview and was told in the officers opinion not to bother applying for stamp (I asked if they could give me a stamp there but was told I would need to speak to customer service line) as I should have my 10 year soon enough. That was almost 7 weeks ago. Still no update. What a hassle.
