OMG guys I received my GC on the mail today.  I can not believe it!!!!! A feeling of freedom I can’t explain! once again thanks everyone. The journey is long and sometimes it feels like it

Hey guys, My GC arrived today.  I can't even explain the feeling, but I just know that I'm going to start living life. My only advise for you is to be patience and believe in god.  🙏

hi folks I have a question how long does take rfe respond from uscis ?

I'm one of who submitted I360 on September 19 2019 after 16 or 17 months they asked RFE and I responded it as fast as I could. 9 days ago they received and says USCIS HAS BEGUN WORKING ON YOUR CASE AGAIN.and my attorney charged me 1200$ I am also on removal proceeding! I wish my dream will come though like many of us !

Wow such a long time .. I hope uscis won't schedule my GC and I won't have the approval letter .😏

Mine was approved 9 months ago but not approval letter. Does i485 interview time starts after c31 approval or after approval notice?

To be honest with you I don’t know as I am in the same similar situation . Technically C31 EAD is issued only after the approval of I-360. I will ask my lawyer more about the details of how is how on Monday . Will let you know

Everytime I see you'll give the timeline to file for citizenship I laugh and shake my head because when I got my gc from my attorney she send me an email saying I am eligible in 5 years to file for citizenship and she made sure to add March 11th 2026. She's the one who filed my vawa she know I was married to a USC but she don't know am eligible to file in 3 years? Thank God I found this group you guys know alot more than half of these attorneys, good for her when she's waiting for me to file March 11th 2026 I will already be a US citizen God's willing😊

Can you try to get help from congressman to get a copy of approval letter. Also if you have a lawyer is it possible that they overlooked your mail? Another possibility i can think of if your address changed is that uscis sent to old address.

PSYCHIATRIST VERSUS BARTENDER

 

A man, sitting at a bar after work, shared with the bartender why he was looking so stressed.  "I'm not sleeping well.  I have nightmares about a monster under my bed, and I'm too embarrassed to seek help."

 

A patron overheard this and introduced himself.  "I heard your story, and I am a psychiatrist.  Maybe I can help.  The first thing is to recognize that these are only dreams, and that is obvious, so I should be able to help you in a few sessions.  Here's my card -- give me a call."

 

A few weeks passed, and the same two were once again at the bar after work. The psychiatrist said to the first guy, "How go the nightmares?  I never heard from you, so I hope that you're doing OK."

 

The other guy said, "Things are great.  The bartender helped me."

 

The psychiatrist said, "The bartender helped you?  You needed a trained professional like me!  What could a bartender possibly do that a psychiatrist couldn't?"

 

"He told me to saw the legs off my bed."

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Hi all. My attorney informed me that I have a biometrics appointment tomorrow and mailed me the receipt notice. I never received it and my attorney will not respond so I have no copy of it. Any advice? Can I still show up without the notice? Thanks!

My Vawa was Approved in March 2021 and I got my approval notice in June 2021, i think it is best you contact your local congressman.

Feb - 18 - 2019  - I360/I-485/I-765 Filled  ( Vermont )

Feb - 25 - 2019  - I360/I-485/I-765  Received

Sep - 17 -2019   - I-765 Approved. (C9)

Jun - 20 - 2020  - I-765 Renewal Sent

Sep - 08 - 2020  - I-765 - Approved (C9)

Oct - 15 - 2020  -  RFE Received ( Good Faith Marriage )

Nov - 15 - 2020  - RFE Sent

Mar - 05 - 2021  - EAD Approved ( C31 )

Mar - 05 - 2021  - I-360 Approved 

Mar - 08 - 2021  - I-485 Case Moved to new office. 

May - 25 -2021  - I-360 Approval Notice Arrived

Nov - 12 -2021  - i-693 - Notice to Submit Medical

Nov - 17 -2021  - i-693 - Sent to USCIS 

Dec -16 2021 - I-485 Approved, GC in Production.

Yes you can go there for your biometrics but they might do it for you if you are lucky, 

make sure you have this documents handy:

 

(1) your previous EAD card if you have it 

 

(2)  your photo ID card if you have it

 

(3) your social security card 

 

(4) your any notice of action receipt notice
