Quick question … how long does it take to get your extension letter in the mail after you get the  text notification and your check gets cashed ?? Just curious 🤔

From what I have seen, looks like a week maybe depending on how close you live to where they're being mailed from. My wife got the notification text a couple nights ago and we haven't received the letter in the mail yet. I bet we will by Friday. If you refer to the posted Google Sheets you can figure out how long it is taking others to get their letters.

Sweet! We received our text notification last week and our check was cashed yesterday …. We are all the way in Connecticut so I am assuming a couple more days or another week…. Whenever it gets here ! 🤷🏽‍♀️😅

Are there any special precautions to take when traveling while having a "pending" status? I will send out my packet this week and will travel to my home country next month and am just curious if there is any extra paperwork to take with me to make sure they let me back in lol

As far as I am aware of just your NOA1 paper you receive. I know people take them with them as a pre-caution but that is about as much as I know since that paper tells Custom that you're still good to go if you're past your expiration date. Told my wife the same think but she's from Vietnam and they're all currently under lock downs lol so she is like eh, it can wait another year. lol

Hey guys, please I have 2 questions. Are we submitting Divorce decree along with this application if previously married? Also We Amended our tax return for 2019, should we include the form 1040X or just the Transcript

Ummm Did you and your spouse get a divorce or do you mean you had a divorce prior to all this immigration stuff? Because at first I read it as you and your current spouse got a divorce and not this I-751 is being applied for single and not with the Spouse that brought the immigrant over.

I would think if it was a previous marriage then the divorce decree stuff should have been handled from the very beginning?

As for the Taxes... Umm, for the sake of argument I probably would and the reason for that is because I like to play it safe lol. If in doubt, submit it anyways. As for Transcript vs Amended 1040, I read somewhere while researching that for this if you submit your 1040(x) info then you will need to submit everything with the 1040(x) so it is always better to submit just the Transcript. Unless you want to give them copies of the W2's, 1099's, any Schedule's, etc, etc, etc...

With all that said, I am not too sure but that is how I would handle it. I didn't even submit my 2019's was submitted during my wifes AOS and she had just arrived in 2019. Hmm, I wonder if they will ding me on that one now. roflmao.

Thanks Willie. Me and My present wife whom I want to file ROC with were divorced in the past and our divorced were final years back. I just want to know if I should submit our divorce decree document along with the ROC petition.

Finally sent our package today!

I was eligible to send it as early as June 27th, but we were moving to another apartment and July was just all crazy. I am glad it's finally on the way and hope for we didn't do any mistakes on the forms and docs!

It was delivered on 8/11 and tonight I could see that our card was charged. Just received a message that USCIS received the package with a case number that starts with WAC.

How many pictures did you include in your package? I'm at 31 pictures and hope that'll do it 🙈 backed up by all other evidence and affidavit letters from friends/family.
