@Heather&Miguel I know how you feel. Our case has been ready to be scheduled since August too and it's very frustrating! We just want the interview notice!!!

Hey guys! I'm new to this forum.

 

My priority date is June 09, I just got my permission to work status change from "fingerprints have been taken" to "card is being produced" yesterday (Dec 10)

 

I'm so excited!

I feel you! The whole process is very draining and frustrating, but I do think the end is in sight. 

 

The estimates do seem to be fairly accurate - the vast majority of applicants with an EAD NOA date of late May now have their cards, with more being issued daily. I'm slightly behind you on the timeline but hoping to get my EAD/AP by mid-January.

 

What seems to be much harder to predict is the AOS interview date. Two K1 couples immediately before me in the 'queue' in Dallas only waited about 4 weeks for an interview after their biometrics appt and 6 months in total since their NOA. That made me quite optimistic I'd have heard by now but unfortunately still radio silence! The 'official' wait times still say 12-18 months so it's impossible to judge which will be more accurate.

11/10 - Interview date. Approved. Status changed to "New Card Being Produced" 1 hour after leaving field office.

 

Field office: Kansas City, MO ; Adjusting from K1 visa.

Hi,
You should get the card within one week as its USPS Priority Mail. Some folks get it really quick after only a couple of days however mine took 8 days from "New Card Being Produced" to receiving the card in the mailbox.

6/11/2021 - receipt date

11/4/2021 - ready to be scheduled for interview

12/15/2021 - change of address processed (moved from Santa Ana FO to Los Angeles FO)

12/17/2021 - interview scheduled

1/24/2022 - interview date

 

Adjusting from K1. Still haven't had the EAD approved, but I expect that to happen within the next week or so... not that it matters too much with the green card (hopefully) just around the corner!

How long does it take to receive the GC after the interview? Is it usually a week? Let's hope that most of us receive the interview notice in January!!
