423 days waiting… can’t get more disappointed and hopeless than seeing them moving onto May… leaving the rest of us waiting even longer😭

Same here 😭 hopeless, only one RFES in 5 working days in 76000 batch. I’m so tired and broken-hearted.

Juneteenth is actually Sunday! Just to clarify. I was looking at the 2021 calendar yesterday🤦🏽‍♀️

They'll observe it on Monday anyways, so I've read.

Hi there, wishing everyone  gets their NOA2 soon. It really is frustrating but trust me when it happens it’s worth all the waiting.

Is anyone else waiting on NVC to send the letter to them? We got approved may 25th and got our approval letter from USCIS but still have not received anything from NVC. Don’t know if it’s normal since on the website it says they’re already working on June 2nd.

I was wondering the same thing, we were a approved May 12 and haven’t gotten anything either…but I remember reading it can take up to 60 days. Most people seem to be getting it sooner though.

It took my case an entire month to reach and be processed at NVC. My approval was April 7th but NVC didnt get it until May 5th, my case # was recieved on May 11th.

Last I heard, theres no welcome letter for k1 applicants. I never got one, we (petitioner) only recieved an email stating our case was in transit, and I the beneficiary, got an in person letter stating my case was in transit which was May 24.

I think they only reach out with your information unprompted under two circumstances

1. Your case is being held at NVC due to backlog and it has hit 60 days.

2. Your case is in transit

It depends on the embassy, each of them has a waiting time prediction here on VJ. Go on processing times >> K1 processing times >> scroll down to K1 visa statistics >> select last 3 months for better accuracy and scroll down until you see your embassy's name.

Thanks for the time you spent to respond. It helps knowing others experienced similar delays.

Hi all,

We are in the 79000 group and unfortunately received a a RFE update today, not exactly the update we wanted to see after waiting so long.

Just wondering does anyone know on average how quickly they are processing RFE's? We have postponed our wedding already and may have to potentially postpone it again (Getting married October 29th) at this rate, just trying to decide if we should contact the wedding venue to let them know if it's high likely chance or not.

Thank you for your help!

I don't know if theres an average really but im in the K1 April 2021 group and I see a few members there who have been waiting over 60 days now. A bunch past 30 as well. I heard that they aim for 60 days but it can be longer, unsure what merit is behind that though..

Am I allowed to post outside links here? This could go in any of the april/may or june topic but I want more of us to see it. I got into on FB argument about current state of Uscis backlog, provided data that Xiaova and the rest of you guys provide us daily and I got a response that got me very, very confused. Wouldn't pay much attention if it wasn't someone who states that knows this matter very good. Maybe I'll just quote what he said here and you be the judges:

" I was a member of Visa Journey since 2015.  I know and even admin some groups with admins from there. Case Tracker only reports exactly what is on the USCIS site. There is nothing special about it but they do sell your info if you decide to log in. I’ve used that for years too. You are 100% wrong on how the timelines work there but that is your opinion. Yes. We also scan sites and Bryan puts up monthly reports here.  There is no info you have that we don’t and we have. Some of what you are saying is skewed and some is just wrong. I’m glad you like Visa Journey so much. It is a great site with amazing mods and admins. That doesn’t make your perception correct. "

He basically says that Excell sheets shared here, and daily approvals we follow daily are skewed and 100 percent wrong. I'd really like someone to prove this wrong.
