Hello,

This is for the April K-1 filers. Welcome! Just know the lockbox is delayed a couple weeks, so you may not receive your NOA-1 right away. However, your case will be backdated to the received date.

Example

I-129 F Sent -  April 3rd 2021

I-129 F Received - April 6, 2021

I-129 F - Notice Date - May 14, 2021

In this example your NOA-1 should be April 6, 2021. Forget about the notice date. This will help you properly fill out your timeline.

I sent my I-129F on 3/31 and it was delivered to the lockbox on 4/1. The waiting begins.

  • Congrats! The lockbox is only delayed about 3 weeks now. Still they will backdate your NOA-1 to the date they receive it.

Thank you! I hope so! I was looking back at the earlier filer posts and freaking out a bit.

On the case tracking app, what is the best WAC number to plug in the see the most recent cases being processed?

I'm so behind on most recent NOA-1s. You can try WAC2190060000

Hello April Filers!! We just sent our application on 4/8/2021. I know we have some waiting to do but I wanted to go ahead, get on the thread and say hello!

congrats! :) The wait time at the lockbox has been reduced substantially. You should receive your NOA-1 in a couple weeks.

Hello April Filers! My fiancé and I just filed. I am from the UK and right now they aren’t doing K1 visa interviews however I know some people are talking about NIE’s? Do we reckon is April Filers could be a part of this? Or do you think by time our petition gets approved they’ll be through with the backlog? Thanks in advance!

There is about a year backlog. Hopefully by the time you receive your NOA-2 they will be only behind a couple months.
