Can they speak Spanish and can you speak Norwegian, oj huh?

I was able to understand the Spanish in the West Side Story remake, thanks to Sesame Street!   And I can read and understand limited Norwegian (more Swedish) thanks to my upbringing in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood, snus junction.

I really need to learn Spanish properly though.   I now regret taking French in school.   I have never needed it in the workplace.

I am an aunt. :)

Baby Kai Daniel was born yesterday afternoon and he is perfect. My sister Rachel is doing great and we are absolutely thrilled as a family to welcome a new member! I get to meet him tomorrow. After going through so much as a family recently, on both sides of the Atlantic, Baby Kai is a balm. Welcome to the world, baby boy!

I will note that my nearly-a-brother-in-law refers to his new son as the Archduke Kai, because my sister does have some major empress vibes about her.

I have a March baby.  Great month!   Congratulations!

My British husband complains to the ends of the earth about Toyota drivers...league of their own!

For Kiwis, it is Honda drivers.  😅  Apparently in NZ, Hondas are driven by grandmas.   Vs just smart people who like good cars, like here.     Fortunately I drive a fairly neutral Subaru.  And I hope to be a grandma, someday.

1) Dunno :)

2) Many MANY thousands there are in my city ;)

Many) No mius and no refugees living with me. Not enough space.

Many) I have no idea. I can speak a little Russian. Had learnt for two years in a primary school and seems like some of it stuck. I've discovered it now, while so many TV reporters and all are talking to Ukrainians and they speak in Ukrainian or Russian (tho Ucrainian is much different than Russian, although they share an alphabet).

Many, Many, Many) No idea lol.

I'm taking a few days break from voulunteering at the train station where these refugees arrive and some of them spend a few days there. Too much bad emotional stuff to deal. I so wish they could take a break from it too, but it's impossible :(

You're a good person Asia ❤️

Our district delayed opening by 2 hours.  Good thing or Kid1 and I would have been stuck out in the thick of it.  And well, we've discussed the driving 'round here previously, so phew! Dodged a bullet there.

Kid2 won't take Lunchables to school anymore.  Says they don't stay cold enough.

Miu seems to be bought off with treats, so does that trickery work?  My boy cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes so we've been back and forth to the vet frequently of late.  His countermeasure tactic is to start peeing as you're trying to shove him in his carrier.  Next time, we're going to go outside to stick him in the carrier so when he decides to unleash the urine, it's a non event for cleaning purposes!

You were on America's Next Top Model?
