Completed my biometrics last Thursday, checked my case status Friday it said the finger prints were added to the cases on both the I-485 and EAD. I just checked again and it now says ready to schedule an interview for the I-485 but the EAD still just says finger prints were applied to case?...... 😯

 

Anybody had a similar circumstance with these status updates? If so what was your outcome and in what time frame?

Appreciate any answers.

Nope nothing:) just a wait game.

I can’t see anything anymore online.

For I-485 all history is gone.

I talked at one point with a live agent that was saying my bios were applied in June 17 for the case but from then nothing

Congratulations, that was speedy!! 🥳  Did you request for an expedite at any point for the case to move so smoothly?

1 month has gone by since we put in an expedite request, and still no bios appointment.

 

Is anyone else still waiting for their bios appointment as well?  Its starting to feel like we have been left behind.

You can't expedite biometrics. You will likely get a denial because you need your biometrics done first before you can expedite. However, people say expediting may trigger your biometrics appointment, but that's not always the case. Expediting didn't work for me, what worked was contacting my congressman.

Hey, did you get any update saying your finger print has been taken? 

 

After my biometrics yesterday my case status changed to "Case is being actively reviewed."

 

This might mean that things are pretty close for me at this point.

No update online after my biometrics on Monday 08/02. I am seeing a lot getting update after biometric appointment in just 2 days. Should I worry, anyone on the same situation?

03/01: USCIS Received AOS

04/04: Received text mssg from USCIS

04/13: Received 4 NOA in mail for form i485, i130, i131, i765.
05/20: Received RFIE, responded 05/24

06/02: USCIS Received RFIE Response

07/17: Biometrics letter received dated 08/02

08/02: Biometrics Appointment
