Thanks for sharing that. I didn't realize they could ask you to define terms.

And I was always thrown off by the Nazi Germany question. Most of us weren't even alive then!

Do you understand that our interviews on the same day haha, I just realized that, August 17th

It's super individual, could be 10 minutes could be also 40

Differs. My interview was at 09:30 and I was out of the building at 10:10 ( only because my officer was too chatty) but my interview was done way before that time. Then I had to wonder around for 3 hours to come back for ceremony. Ceremony lasted one hour tops.

Status says  “we are actively reviewing your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization” for 7 days. How long does it normally take to get an interview date when the status shows this ??

Does everyone get this change in status from "Case Was Received And A Receipt Notice Was Sent" prior to interview being scheduled? Or do some people jump right to having the interview scheduled?

Hey all! I filed at the beginning of March, had my biometrics done done on Monday and just received a notice for my interview for end of August. I'm in Los Angeles and expected the process to take over a year, so I'm a little in shock how fast this has all gone!!

So I had a citation a couple of days ago. Meanwhile my oath ceremony is next month. What’s going to happen? Please

Make sure it gets resolved before the oath. As long as it's pending you can't be sworn in.

By getting it resolved do you mean paying the fine?
