  2. Just in case anyone has this issue in the future regarding testing positive for COVID ahead of an oath ceremony: Oath scheduled for Tuesday, January 4th. Did not receive positive test result until Friday, December 31st - unable to call USCIS as instructed on notice because they were closed for the New Year holiday. Called Monday, January 3rd - there's no specific process for reporting that you have COVID as they make it appear on notice, the person on the phone tells you to mail a letter explaining why you are unable to attend your oath ceremony along with a copy of your N-445 notice to your field office. Obviously, since I was informed of this only the day before my scheduled oath ceremony, they did not receive my letter before the oath. MyUSCIS account updated on January 5th (the day after scheduled oath) to say "You did not appear for your scheduled oath ceremony," and then "Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled." Thankfully I'm back in line right away regardless of them not receiving my letter, but I do imagine someone needs to go back in to "excuse" the COVID absence after-the-fact since on the notice it states that there is no penalty for not attending due to illness. Hopefully that doesn't matter since I don't see anything preventing me from attending the newly scheduled oath ceremony. Will provide updates!
  3. Unfortunately I’ve tested positive for COVID and my oath ceremony was scheduled for this upcoming Tuesday, January 4th. I’m going to call today, but does anyone here know how long it typically takes to receive a new oath date and how far out new oath dates typically are after a COVID cancellation?
  4. Oath Ceremony Scheduled for January 4, 2022. Timeline: Submitted: Sunday 03/07/2021 Biometrics Reuse: Sunday 03/07/2021 Interview Scheduled: Thursday 10/21/2021 Interview Letter Delivered: Thursday 10/28/2021 Interview: Monday 11/29/2021 Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled: Monday 11/29/2021 Oath Ceremony Scheduled: Thursday 12/16/2021 Oath Ceremony: Tuesday 01/04/2022
  5. Not yet! Looks like there’s typically at least 4 weeks between approval and the oath being scheduled.
  6. Interview was this morning at 8AM! Officer was very down to business and kept things tight. After swearing in, asked for Green Card, Drivers License, and Passport. Started with citizenship test, only took 6 questions - can't remember them all because it was all a bit of a flurry, but 3 were: What ocean is on the east coast of the United States? What does the judicial branch do? How many Senators are there? Officer asked for dates of any travel outside of the US since filing the application. Not much said by officer afterwards beyond saying she believed that I fulfilled the requirements for naturalization, handed me the form saying the same - quoted that ceremonies are taking place about 6 weeks after interviews right now. About an hour afterwards my application status was updated to "Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled" ! What a massive relief!!
  7. I have the Case Tracker app and just happened to check it mid-day. I had to manually refresh for it to switch over! Logged onto MyUSCIS and sure enough the Interview Scheduled letter was in my case as well. Didn't get an email update until the next morning. Hope you hear something soon!
  8. Filed March 7, 2021 - just got Interview Scheduled for Monday, November 29th at Chicago Field Office!! @CaneK keep a lookout, hope you hear something soon too!
  9. Filed March 7, 2021 - just got Interview Scheduled for Monday, November 29th!!
  10. Weird change in MyUSCIS today - it shows "submitted March 6, 2021" next to my receipt number but all of my documents and case status show received March 7, 2021. March 7th was the first possible eligible day to file based on three-month rule, do you think there may be an issue if they see the application as having been submitted March 6th in their system? I've seen a few horror stories of people unknowingly submitting a day early and being denied.
  11. In the same boat, I've seen two March filers from Chicago get interviews almost two weeks ago and now I'm getting nervous - filed March 7th.
  12. Sorry to hear that they couldn't do both simultaneously - I hope it's all resolved soon! Congrats on getting through the N400 interview, though!
  13. Congrats!! March 7 2021 in Chicago, hoping to hear something soon!
  14. Incredible, congratulations!! March 7 2021 here so hoping to hear something soon!!
