Somehow, I knew (and hoped) you would add your always-accurate insight.  How do you feel about a lot of front loading a K-1?

@payxibka is one of my fellow *did not include* snapshots VJ members 😅

Yes someone clarified it is once in past two years, of course, we have spent countless time together in the past two years, I can't even count how many meetings. But I also don't have to include 100+ photos if 12 good chosen photos + passport stamps + tickets will suffice.

Some didn't include any photos with the petition

YMMV

hope that you are not relying on pictures and photos.... did you have both intent to marry and extra steps also ready? Has a ring been bought and receipts and such? Did you get emails and conversations printed out and documented? Was yours and hers prior divorce, marriages documented? The list is pretty extensive, since me and my wife did K-1 almost 3 years back

A ring is not required at any step. I'm anti ring and I've never had any rings and it never once came up during my K1 and AOS interviews.

Also, photos certainly don't hurt. In my experience, immigration officers like looking at photos

We have tons of them, I just believe putting 100+ photos of our photos together in the I-129F may be overkill, and better to pick out the best ones and strategic ones, showing various settings, trips, and also with others (esp with family members).

No, you definitely don't need 100+ photos. Which country are we talking about?

Another member of the anti-ring club here. Ring-free and loving it!

We were careful to fulfill the requirements specified on the official website, and emphasized the primary evidence (passport stamps, visas, proof of living together) over secondary evidence such as photos.

The thing is, photos do not prove that the meeting was in the last two years. That’s the key point. Boarding passes, passport stamps, ATM transactions or credit card statements showing usage in her home town, for example, are better as they are date stamped. Unless the photo has something substantial with the date on it in the photo (for example a photo of you in front of the Eiffel Tower on New Year’ Eve with the year spelled out in lights on the tower) it is hard to know when it was taken.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

ATM/Credit Usage. Great point. I can produce that as well. I do have boarding passes + passport stamps that confirm all the trips mentioned.

I'm a believer in front loading.

The amount of evidence we are required to have at the interview was lower than most. cases, especially in police certs.

Document every meeting if you don't live in the same country. Have at least one photo from each meeting. Include meetings older than 2 years ago.

On chats, you don't have show every chat. Showing some sample chats or emails say one per month or quarter is good.

How can I document every meeting? We have maybe met several hundreds of times of the course of years, I even spent most of the year in fiance's country. I have included photos + tickets + passport stamps + bank statements that all attest to me being there. I can include some chats but the officer won't understand it because it's in our native language and not something google translatable.

You don't have to document every meeting.  You have to document ONE meeting.  Please read and re-read the requirements to be eligible to file the I-129f petition.

You are letting worry get the better of you. As others have said, you only need to meet the bare minimum requirements specified on the official website for the I-129F petition.

You have the option to add more evidence, especially if your fiancé comes from a high-fraud country, but use your discretion and look at it from the point of view of an adjudicating officer who needs to go through thousands of petitions: they don't need to be bombarded with evidence of hundreds of meetings. How can you efficiently organize your evidence to make your petition easy to read and understand?

You traveled to her country 100s of times?

I think that's amazing. That is one of the strongest cases in the history of K-1s. You will succeed.

So provide evidence of each meeting (plane ticket receipt), and then for say 1 in 10 of the meetings, show a photo.

Your frequent flyer mile balance must be in the tens of millions of miles!

It doesn't mater if you think the officer won't understand your chats. (1) it is still evidence. (2) the CO might be able to read the language

No I mean I spent for example most of 2020 in her country (my ancestral country as well), so we met whenever we could. I also travelled 3 times the previous year (2 to that country and 1 to another country) to spend time with her.

I got tons of pictures, but I have picked out a good bunch like around 13 or so, that show each of the times I was there with her, different settings, with family, etc. I got plane ticket + passport stamp + bank account activity to prove I was actually there all those times. If during interview they want proof we talk lol they can just scroll through her phone, though they will be going through chat conversation forever because we talk very often, I don't think a day has gone by where we didn't talk/chat.
