Yes, Planning to do it every Saturday evening. Since I noticed they do some cases on the saturday

  • Jan 26, 2021 = NOA 1 for I-129F (K1 Visa application)
  • Sep 8, 2021 = NOA 2 for I-129F (K1 Visa application)
  • Nov 16, 2021 =  K1 visa issued in Islamabad, Pakistan
  • Jan 20, 2022 = POE Dallas, Texas
  • Feb 14, 2022 = AOS (I-451, I-131, I765) Filed
  • Feb 20, 2022 = Receipt notice for all three received
  • March 21, 2022 = Biometrics in Dallas, Texas
  • August 9, 2022 = EAD (I-751 approved)
  • August 13, 2022 = EAD and SSN received (SSN applied with EAD)
  • September 6, 2022 = AP (I-131 approved)
  • September 13, 2022 = AP (I-131 receieved) 
  • March 15, 2023 = I-485 approved (interview waived, New SSN received without DHS wording)
  • March 31, 2023 = GC in hand (Total time from NOA-1 to GC in hand 794 days)

Approved today!!!!!! NOA-1 January 11.    Thank you to all the VJ members that kept me going for the past 7 months! Now onto the embassy phase.

Hi Guys Midweek update pretty slow last couple of days, Next update coming over the weekend.   Also, I have attached two items here one is based on dates one is basically 500 blocks of

100 cases processed since 09/01 - 83 approved, 17 RFE. I’m so happy the number doubled - maybe they doubled the processed cases as a lot could be in vacation by tomorrow because of the long weekend.

Yes i saw that last weekend a couple of cases were approved on saturday! I wonder if the new USCIS director is allowing them to work on saturdays now? From what i understood they were only working mon-friday.

We received our approval (NOA2) today.  We were January 4 filers. The longest part is over. 🙂

K1 Process (536 Days)

  • 01/28/2021: I129F Packet Sent - 07/20/2022: Visa On Hand

  • 08/12/2022: POE - Dulles

  • 09/20/2022: Marriage

 

AOS (Pending)  EAD & AP (88 Days):

  • 09/30/2022: AOS, EAD, AP Packet Sent
  • 01/09/2023: Combo Card on Hand (Expedited)

For those who are following their cases will notice a glaring issue. There is a pattern of USCIS working on the cases, they will speed gun through the cases initially with every block (date) and try to bring it as close to 50% processed (including RFEs, Rejected etc.) once they achieve that number or get close to that number they will slow down that date to a point where it is painful to watch. 

 

I did some analysis and there are obviously cases pending from September all the way down, and they do process them but maybe one or two cases a day. 

 

I have no idea why but it is a common theme. 

 

Secondly, I have also noticed that country of the beneficiary is also an important factor in cases being processed faster especially if the local embassies of beneficiaries are backlogged. (they will issue NOA2) but then you are bound to sit at NVC for extended period of times. 

I wish USCIS is more forthcoming and transparent about their process. Anyways just a regular Thursday Rant.

Just got my RFE today, our NOA1 is Jan. 8th. I have already updated my timeline!!! I will update what they requested once I find out.

Does the Case Status tell you if there's an RFE? 

Removal of Conditions (I-751)
2/17/24: I-751 packet shipped via FedEx

2/20/24: I-751 packet delivered

2/22/24: Receipt Number available on USCIS Portal

2/27/24: Extension Letter Available Online, Biometric Re-use letter, "Case is being actively reviewed"

Yes, the case status tells you  whether you're approved, denied, or have a RFE.

From what I saw today (only for January cases)

 

78 cases processed today 

19th of January was the cut off for cases today

6th and 19th had double digit cases processed today

 

 

of course since I did not made a report I might be off by a little bit, but overall this is the gist.
