Hi there. Can I ask you how did you know when the NVC received your case and how will you know once it has left it? I’d appreciate if you give me an idea of how it works cause I’ve been searching about it but I can’t see it clearly. Thank you in advance. Best wishes

I just talked to dee. She’s another filer from Liberia. They were approved in may and they just transferred the case to Freetown. The embassy in Liberia extremely backlogged. They have only been doing 10 k1 cases sometimes less a month. Meanwhile they do 25 tourist visas a month smh

Hi @J&D1008, congrats! I just got approved for K1 after 13months and I would like to know how you transferred your case to another consulate. What evidence we’re required to justify the transfer?

Congrats! When did you receive the Biometrics appointment appointment for the EAD? I filed on July 27th and recently received the receipt notices and I was wondering how long it took for the Biometrics appointment to come in.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
