I called the agent now and here what we discussed:

 

- He said he confirmed he corrected the application

- The application is for internal user only they don't send it anywhere

- I asked for his permission to record the phone call and he said yes , and on the recoding I have him saying this is his own error , he made it and I never claimed it... he mention it almost 5 times on the phone call and it is recorded after his consent

- When I asked about a new copy of the application he said he will finalize the paper work and send it back before closing and we will find the correct information. 

 

at the end of the call , He said in 25 years carrier he see wrong SSNs or wrong names or answer citizenship questions wrongly , he said it happens all the time and they just fix it.

 

now I have an email from him saying  he fixed it after I told him you never asked this question & I have the phone call recording.

You are more than a detective now....😀😀, since it is internal use, there is nothing to worry about, really. Glad you took care of this for your peace of mind.......

to add to what JFH wrote,  now you will be a new homeowner and could be called for jury duty/ sometimes they send a questionaire and you need to put you are a LPR and not USC (and maybe send copy of green card)  

but if no questionaire,  report the 1st day and show green card to be excused 

 

I say this because i put Adil on my deed before he even came to the US and he was called while still in Morocco

Seems the clerk had no idea what is needed as i checked Massachusetts DMV and is says proof of LPR 

print out the page and take it with you to a new clerk

These government offices often have no clue

Adil had marked the box for USCIS to do SS# but we  went over before it came and a clerk said "come back with his birth certificate and our marriage "and wouldn't look at his passport.  We did the next day and a new clerk says "all i need to see is passport and IR1 stamp"

 

talk to a new office or new clerk and if you need to ,  ask for a supervisor

I got a Real ID, 2 years ago, with a Green Card, and a Water and Power Bill!!

 

Real ID is NOT limited to US born.

 To piggy-ride on yours, I got my DL with the "Real ID" sign on it, issued in 2017, just a month after getting my 2 year GC.

Thanks all! I just had to put my best customer service smile on and ask for a supervisor, who apologized and approved my application no problem

Excellent outcome! Maybe now the mortgage agent will be more careful before assuming anything when someone makes an application.

I hope so , I found tons of questions that he never asked but fortunately they are ok

 

So I’ll not hire an attorney for this thing and will just let go. I have couple of evidences if anything happened . Please tell me if I’m wrong

i doubt, unfortunately most mortgage agents are not careful and only focus on the digits.
