I had my N400 interview today and it was a combo interview. My spouse and I were called in and they started with ROC interview. The officer asked us basic questions like when did my spouse became a citizen, where does he work, where did we get married, did we take any trips after the wedding, did you bring any additional joint documents apart from the ones already submitted. The ROC part lasted for 15 min and then he moved on to the N400 interview, which was very easy. Straightforward questions - civics test, English test, application, that's it. He said that he cannot make a decision now because for combo interviews they need to talk to supervisor to approve but he didn't find any issues with my case. Awaiting oath ceremony letter now. Thanks to this group for all the help!!

I got an RFE at my interview back in august for missing tax proof. Which is stupid as we gave tax returns but he wanted tax transcripts and receipts so I would recommend taking those into any interviews. 
anyway just got my new status today that oath cermony will be scheduled. Yay!!

Just FYI, the requirement to have IRS transcripts or IRS certified tax returns is included in the instructions for N-400 and the N-400 document checklist. 

 

Page 11 of N-400 instructions:

(e) Internal Revenue Service (IRS)-certified copies of the income tax forms that you and your spouse filed for the past 3 years (or an IRS tax return transcript for the last 3 years).

 

Page 1 of N-400 Document Checklist:

b. Internal Revenue Service (IRS)-certified copies of the income tax forms that you both filed for the past 3 years; or

c. An IRS tax return transcript for the last 3 years

 

This is an important note for people who previously used regular tax returns for prior parts of the immigration journey. IRS Tax transcripts are the safest bet.

Good to note. We provided the certified tax returns but he also wanted the transcripts and receipts. Those are super easy to get on the website so I would just recommend bringing them just incase because I was kicking myself.

Anyone's case ever changed to ready to be scheduled for an interview to case approved.? Case was approved without having the interview. I went to get i551 stamp and case was approved the next day.

Finally. We received an email today that the green card has been ordered and is on its way.

We did not file N-400

May I ask whether your status before the card ordering was "fingerprints" or "ready to be scheduled for interview?" Thank you and congrats!!!

hi - we believe it was 'fingerprints'. I think the interviews were skipped for most people due to the pandemic.

Finally my case changed ! YSC applicant. I didn't apply for citizenship. No interview nor approval notice. Just changed to New card is Being Produced.Thank you so much everyone for all your updates. It helps me a lot.

 

Filed ROC : Nov.13,2020

Receipt Notice : Nov.15,20201

18 Month Extension Letter : Feb.9,2021

Fingerprint Taken : Jan. 20,2022

Passport Stamp Appt. : Jan. 11,2023

48 months Extension Letter :March 8,2023

New Card is Being Produced : March 16,2023

Do you need to get the mailed ones or can you just download the transcript online?

Got my 10-year Green Card in the mail yesterday!  Filed November 2020, Potomac.  I did not file N-400.
