I had my N400 interview today and it was a combo interview. My spouse and I were called in and they started with ROC interview. The officer asked us basic questions like when did my spouse became a citizen, where does he work, where did we get married, did we take any trips after the wedding, did you bring any additional joint documents apart from the ones already submitted. The ROC part lasted for 15 min and then he moved on to the N400 interview, which was very easy. Straightforward questions - civics test, English test, application, that's it. He said that he cannot make a decision now because for combo interviews they need to talk to supervisor to approve but he didn't find any issues with my case. Awaiting oath ceremony letter now. Thanks to this group for all the help!!

I leave a few days before the 60 days timeframe, so I might have to change my flight if needed. I am staying overseas from mid November to mid Feb, so yes more than 30 days. I did have the biometrics appt for N-400 already in Feb but no news on that.

Hi All, I have I-751 filed for CR1 category. My 24 month GC extension expires in a few months but still haven't heard anything about interview or another extension. I also filed for N400 in January 2022 so expecting a combo interview. I am planning to go out of the country while the 24 month extension expires. I called uscis to get an infopass appt to see if maybe they can give me an I-551 stamp, but the agent said they can give me the appointment only 60 days before the GC expiry date. Any suggestions from the experienced would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Hi All, I have I-751 filed for CR1 category with MSC service center. My 24 month green card extension expires in a few months but still haven't heard anything about interview or another extension. I also filed for N400 in January 2022 so expecting a combo interview. I am planning to go out of the country while the 24 month extension expires. What should I do in this case? Also, any idea why there's no news on the CR1 visa? Appreciate the help. Thanks.
