- Filed N-400 November 12 online

- Biometric reuse sent on December 11

- Interview scheduled for January 22, estimated case completion time was set to April.

- Local office: Pittsburgh PA

I have never experienced them being this fast! Very surprising considering Covid.

This is seriously impressive on the part of USCIS. I guess the various service centers are operating at different speeds before the cases get sent to your local USCIS office for the actual interviews. I noticed in this thread that the Vermont and Texas service centers were sending out the biometrics reuse letters. Yet to see anything like that from National Benefits Center (MO). Congratulations and good luck @chingu ! I hope everything goes well smoothly!

@Lazybones18....I think the delay is currently at the service center that received your application...in your case, Texas?

The local USCIS center have longer delays but that matters only after the larger SCs have transferred your file over. So I'd suspect you may receive a biometrics reuse fairly soon, even if the actual interview date is delayed because of USCIS-LA receiving more cases than most other cities.

Fingers crossed for you too. Who knows what rules apply here :( USCIS timelines have always been a mystery....

Are there any paper filers here still waiting to receive a receipt notice? I'm posting on behalf of a friend who sent her paper N-400 application to the Houston, TX office on November 17th, 2020.
