Check the FB live video for Us Embassy in Jamaica. The immigrant visa officer says that although worldwide routine visa services still have not resumed, they have been given new guidance from DOS that IR1/IR2 and CR1/CR2 are now considered mission critical. So they are scheduling interviews! Please let this be for all embassies..Fingers crossed!

So are the guidelines from the DOS for all embassies?

Frankfurt wants to prioritize student visas😏

Student visas are not on the list of emergency or mission critical as of yet. They are routine, which are all suspended worldwide as of yet. Maybe when school start up dates get closer, the routine visa services will restart and they will prioritize student visas or maybe sooner. Why not hope! Maybe even K1s. :) :) I would rather stay hopeful than fall into the despair that this waiting away from loved ones can cause.

Thank you for sharing this. It's comforting to know they are working and taking everyone health into consideration.
