Interviews at Paris Embassy

Hi all,

 

Just trying to figure out if and when the Paris embassy/consulate will reopen for interviews.

Interested in getting information on all interview scheduling.

USCIS will going to open from June 18 in person interviews

so hopefully the best picture will clear after june 22nd.

My interview got scheduled today for the 20th of July at the Paris embassy!

I had an interview planned for late June but it got cancelled again. I set another one for mid-July but I think it might get cancelled again. I will let you know.

From a consulate perspective,  there is no difference between the two

Well, that is true, except for the presidential ban on green cards for multiple visas.

I don't know if there would be a hold up at embassy level for interviews for H1B's for example.

 

That's why I'm trying to figure out if his interview was for an immigration visa or not.

Hello, 

 

Are you on a F1 visa ?

 

I think they are only doing interviews for IR1-CR1 visas at the moment, because of Trump’s ban.

Edit: I just saw your timeline, and unfortunately they are not conducting K1 visa interviews because they are not considered « missions critical » I do believe ...
