congratulations! i’m glad you didn’t have to wait long! how long did it took for you to receive the card since the card is in production status?

The dates were different in my old versus my new USCIS account.

In  my old USCIS account at egov.uscis.gov it says: "July 31st, 2020. We are producing your new card for your Form OS155A, Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration."

In my new USCIS account at my.uscis.gov it said: "August 7th, 2020. In Process. USCIS has accepted your application, petition, or request for processing."

POE: July 12th, 2020

Green Card mailed: August 19th, 2020

Green Card received: August 22nd, 2020

Hi guys,

my son, 8yo immigrated a month ago in the US.

how we can check the status of his green card? In the Uscis website still saying  “case was sent to the department of State“.

any help?

I think you better call the USCIS hotline to clarify the status with the officer.

did you pay the immigrant visa fee? when you do, you receive a new receipt number starting with IOE, and you use that to track the green card status

120 days for me today and the status still says the paymemt has been received. This president has messed up many people's lives. I dont know if he did anything to block the illegal immigration but he has definitely managed to block the legal immigration. He did completely opposite to what he had promised before the elections.

Yes, I paid the fees and on my.uscis shows now as Uscis accepted the case

oh ok. then now you just have to wait, but how long, who knows..  hopefully not too long! my case was accepted april 22 ( i arrived beginning of march) and went in production on august 17, after two inquiries. But there are also other cases were cards get in production and mailed within a month.

thats very funny, the 30 days passed again. just called the USCIS, waiting for half hour to talk a specialist, the specialist used a robotic tone told me 30 days means 30 business days, first time heard about this, the specialist submited my request last time didn't highlight 30 business days at all, as well as the message sent in the my USCIS and so far my case hasn't been assigned to anyone yet.

And the funny thing is that, he asked me to talk to the tier 2 officer asking about this, then i asked him can you connect me to the tier 2 officer now, then he replied that now all the connection to tier 2 is down, only will be fix at 8am monday morning. I was like ........

Today im just so "lucky" talking to a specialist like this,  nearly yelling at me during the conversation, I never had experience like this.

I hope he is not the one im going to talk to on monday. 😂
